Saw a couple of MC/MCSs in the parking lot at Sibley again. I wonder if they have gotten my "message!" tags!
Saw a new one today GREAT license plate " S CARGO" Got a good kick out of that one!

 

I sware I've seen this car b4 but they aren't a member of the DCMM group I don't think. It's a blue cooper with a white stripe down the middle, white top and white flames on the side. Saw him or her (couldn't see b/c i was passing another car and spotted the MINI so had to take a quick glance) around 1:45 PM today at the intersection of 450 and 197.

Also met a cool girl that just moved to the area with a black cooper while I was at Chic fil A - so I told her about the club as well as NAM

Saw a Virginia MINI with the license plate "EMMA P" this morning on the toll road. Then I saw a PS/PS MINI also on the toll road; license plate started with JLP. THEN I saw a LY/B MINI. It was a MINI day on the toll road this morning.

 

There are 2 05-06 MCs parked near me in the New Carollton Metro parking garage.
1. LY/B MC
2. CR/W MC

Too bad I didn't get there in time to park next to them.

 

on the way home Monday on the Greenway, I was in between two MCS Cabrio's....one white with aero kit and the other BRG with aero grill and wheels. Of course, I'd just dropped my car at MoS and was rocking the Chevy HHR loaner, so no point in waving

 

I hate when that happens! The only thing worse is waving at a MINI that does not reciprocate the gesture.

 

Tagged a PW/B (I think) MCS in the parking garage at Worldgate in Herndon on Tuesday. It had some unusual bonnet stripes. Most unusual was the license plate we were trying to figure out. 7&7IS. We just didn't get it. 14? 49? Something else? *frustration*.

 

Saw 9 MINIs on the way from Southern MD to Bethesda Naval Hospital and back today. Actually talked to one driver in the hospital garage who said he belonged to DCMM, got a wave back from another one, and the rest were to busy staring straight ahead or talking on a cel.
I see the New MINI is being shown at the Paris AutoShow. It is/was on the MSN homepage.

 

Heading home for lunch today on 95 I was driving in between two MC's. One was a 06 BRG/S with U stripe on the bonnet with PA tags. I waved and he waved back.

The other was a PS/B MC. He was making phone calls on his cel, but he still managed to wave. This was about 2pm this afternoon on 95N around the columbia area.

Saw an AB/S checkmate MCS sans bonnet stripe on Duke St eastbound this evening. Nice car.

 

driving home last night along I70 there was a PW with some vinyl on the back window that said "Lil' Dawg" or something like that.

 

Tagged two MINIs in downtown Salt Lake City yesterday afternoon. A pepper white S and an orange cabrio. Also saw a velvet red Cooper going down the street. Total MINIs seen so far in driving from DC to as far West as Idaho Falls is FIVE!! (including the three mentioned above)

 

Awesome! I have already joined MINI Motoring Club of Utah in preparation for my move next year. Anyone want to join me for Mini Under the Arches in 2007?

 

Saw a MINI when driving between Front Royal and Luray yesterday afternoon, waved and got a wave back

Also rolled over 15000 miles yesterday (9 months and 1 day )

Spotted cmdrvimes this morning on 95 South.

We were too far away and in between trucks to wave, but Id recognize that BRG with the great wheels anywhere

 

yeah, I was a bit oblivisious this morning. First time I've left for work before 8am in probably a month. I also saw an EB MCS with VA tags and a Sterling plate frame heading heading down 95 South, they took the 495 West split when I went south.

Walked out of my house this morning and saw a SB/S Checkmate MCS JCW w/ Aero Kit. oh wait that's mine. I smiled, and hopped in the rents' eurovan and went back to sleep.
