I saw two or three MINIs stretching their legs on Sheridan Rd. yesterday morning.

And I found out that one of my classmates drives a PW MC.

I've seen you motoring around these parts before without so much as a nod. What gives, dude? What freakin gives... One day, we will meet face to face at the new car wash and it will be a battle royale over whose DS/W MCS reigns supreme.

 

I would pay money to see that.

Exchanged waves with an '05 or '06 MCS heading East on Roosevelt Road in Westchester. I believe the other R53 was med blue/white, however, the combination of dusk, heavy traffic and dirty windows made it hard to identify specific colors. Also believe the other MCS was a fellow CMMC member. We both were avoiding heavy traffic on the Eisenhower. Played follow-the-leader back and forth from Manheim Road all the way into Oak Park. You went S on East Ave @ Garfield while I went North.

 

While doing my morning Banzai Run down Lake Street under the el tracks had the company of MCS clubman green with silver highlights.

Are you close by....I live off of Wilson, but haven't seen your MINI....btw...I always wave.

 

I back and forth between Spring Grove and Libertyville a lot. I am on Wilson quite a bit...I HATE driving on 12...too many trucks and potholes! Wilson to 60 is a nice, leisurely drive.

Spotted a BRG convertible heading north on Rt. 41 at about 9am this morning a little before Rt. 60.. I was heading south so I didn't get a good look.

nope.. not me. haven't taken the MCC out of the garage since FRI evening... but I'll be out and about in the morning

 

I got my first wave back from another Clubman Thursday or Friday morning on the way to work. I was heading north on Milwaukee/21 north of 137 and a PW/B Clubman was heading South. They seemed as surprised as I was. About a mile later a CR/W MCS was heading South and no acknowkledgement from them. That's much more the normal response on my commute.

AB/B MCS with blacked out grill and clear tail/ 3rd brake lights. You came out and were on the phone (so was I) so I opted not to honk. Even though I was 3 spots away you didn't notice me. Booooo!

Exchanged waves w/an '05 or '06 R53 this morning at the Austin entrance to EB I-290. I believe it was dark blue with a silver top. Its hard to tell colors right now because of winter grime. My car is beginning to look like a Chia Pet.

 

Another fellow Clubman sighting on 21 this morning. A blue/white, with an offset "Steve style" white stripe heading south while I was heading north a couple miles north of 137. No return wave. I think this one was an "S" that I've seen once before, but it was months ago.

Well I am only 16 years opld but about a month ago i saw a Mini Cooper S GP Works! It was a fantasic car to see. I live in Springfield, IL but we do see some minis down here but not that many besides mine so that is kind of cool.

Saw a silver/black in a parking lot (Rt 72) and waved and he looked at me like "here we go" and barely lifted his index finger but i will count that as a wave I guess - only because 5 of 5 no waves would make me REALLY
