St Charles
Hello all! I just got my MINI in January and have received and given quite a few waves. I live in St Charles and commute to Romeoville most every day. Just yesterday I got a wave from someone in a silver Mini that was lowered on Ogden near the Bill Jacobs MINI dealership. For those of you that travel Randall Rd maybe I'll catch you on the weekend sometime!

Haha, thankfully nothing close to that. The funny thing is it's right next to Joliet so you have Romeo and Joliet.
It's a 45-50 minute commute though so seeing another MINI is always nice! Especially if you get a wave

We'll have to keep an eye out for you Huckleberry. We are in Bartlett and have two. Eric (AllBlack05S) is my hubby - his plate is DCS OFF and I'm NO CROME. His had a single red stripe, mine has flat black stripes up the center =)

Yeah I'm right near you guys and both of your cars look nice. It would be nice to see them on the road!

I have only lived here a month and where I come from it is almost law you have to wave. Now sadly after to many unanswered waves I have almost stopped. Come on Chicago help a brother out and wave back.

I hear you though about the non-wavers. I used to post here alot. but sadly, the waves are few and far between. I spotted 4 MINIs on the way home today and didn't get anything. actually, one MINI I see almost everyday.. not a single wave ever. do biggie.. I still try.

anyone down for a cruise on saturday? let me know. around schaumburg area. im gunna be out there and seeing if anyone wants to meet up for lunch and such. around 12pm 1pm. let me know. its supposed to be nice in the afternoon!!
Might want to throw up a new thread in this forum to get a little more attention...which roads were you thinking about hitting?

Sunday was a bizarre day! My husband told me that morning that he saw an OB/B (w/ stripes) in Schaumburg the night before.
Then I passed an OB/W (w/stripes) on 75th. I was heading east and they were heading west. I waved and the female in the passenger seat waved back!
THEN later that day, I pulled into the Dominicks at New York and Eola and there was an OB/B (no stripes) so of course I had to park next to it
When I came out, they were gone.
THREE spotted in basically a day's time!!!! Never had that before
Then I passed an OB/W (w/stripes) on 75th. I was heading east and they were heading west. I waved and the female in the passenger seat waved back!
THEN later that day, I pulled into the Dominicks at New York and Eola and there was an OB/B (no stripes) so of course I had to park next to it
When I came out, they were gone.THREE spotted in basically a day's time!!!! Never had that before

I saw a white/black classic today on Rt. 120 near Rt. 83 (I think) while I was out motorcycling.
I was a bit freaked out when I saw a 10 year old driver till I realized it was a right-hand drive car.

I Live Off New york by lake st. So you prob will see my pepper white mini. Blacked out front end..
