Met a new owner and wife of a PW/B Clubman S on 22 east bound at Milwaukee this evening. Pulled up next to me with big smiles and asked "how much do we like our cars" to which I replied more and more every day, especially after a day like today.

 

This evening chatted briefly with a DS R56 S owner on westbound Dundee just before 53. He was at MTTS and was one of the unfortunate ones who drove up from the zoo.

Got a big wave this morning from a lady in a CR/W MC at Rt. 22 and Rt. 41, plus a wave from a co-worker on the road in her PW/PW MC.

It's been a while since I've gotten good waves, and it is still fun when it happens!!

 

Classic Mini in Johnsburg this afternoon!

The most gorgeous olive green metallic...I was so captivated I didn't even wave (but smiled and almost ran myself off the road).

nope...it was a different color with no stripes, definitely custom. it was like olive/khaki green.

 

Saturday 9/27 I was heading south on Rt 83 in Elmhurst in my '08 MCS Yellow w/ checkerboard roof & mirrors. Spoted a '07/'08 MCS Yellow w/ Black. Waved and thumbs up.

10/3 spotted a black/silver 06 cooper down plum grove rd near higgins by schaumburg around 8:30am

 

parked next to a yellow r50 on the glen at lunch I ate and left before the owner got back

 

Ok i need help here. im new to the web site, i see a boat load of mini's around the schaumburg area, i chatted with one on higgans at the light before hoffman estates high school, zipped around on 90 and such with a few, but i don't know how to work the stuff on this website, so if someone can help me that would be great. thanks guys and gals love this site cant get away from it now!

i think i saw you on higgins around 4pm one afternoon and you went down to rt 59 to jump on 90 and looked at me like why are you waving while i continued south on rt 59.

 

yeah that was me LOL! i knew i saw you around. idk about the waving late thing, i cant remember off day i think it wont happen again ! and yes i saw that that with the chckered roof and mirrors and she didnt wave either i even chased her down on 90 and she didnt even glance up.

I saw a BRG convertible southbound on Lincoln Ave. in Lincolnwood yesterday evening. Unfortunately it was pulled over with a police car behind it

Also have a nightfire red/black Cooper parked in front of our house right in fron of our Cooper. I think it belongs to a Skokie police officer.

hehe.. wasn't me thats my old stomping grounds, but I don't go there unless I'm visiting my parents. I know better they're always lurking somewhere on Lincoln Ave. I can tell you all of the known speed traps in that area if anyone is interested
