Chicagoland MINI spottings!
She was something else! Seems like she spent more time OUTSIDE the car than inside. That picture is misleading, too. If my memory serves me correctly, we were doing 60mph at that time, and not the posted 45mph that you see on the sign.
I'd love to see some of the pictures that she got.

Hey, Toro I cruise thru Lombard & G.E. every morning down Hill. I'll have to keep an eye out for you.

On Lower Michigan
4:44 PM - MY/W MCS with a roof rack heading south on Lower Michigan at N. Water Street while waiting for a bus. It was hard to tell because of the echo, but it might have had and JCW or similar exhaust too.
As a LY/B driver, I have to say the new Yellow is starting to grow on me.

Thanks! My boyfriend works at a sign shop and we did them on a Saturday. They're bonnet stripes only, since they were tri-colored I just wanted to keep it as simple and low-key as possible. If anyone wants graphics done, he's pretty amazing.
Here's a better photo...not so small
Saw a DS MCS with a gp wing, custom exhaust, rally light bar, and blacked out custom wheels yesterday on Greenbay/Ridge in Evanston. No wave as I was on my Porch cooking dinner. But a good looking car for sure. Anyone on here?
Well I normally go west on St Charles to 53N.... anytime from 7-815 depending on summer hours and such...
I think I saw you on the way home this evening. St. Charles @ Crescent at about 5:10pm. You have an AB/W MCS with no stripes? I was waiting to turn left onto Crescent from WB St. Charles. You were heading EB on St. Charles.
The return trip home is always so much better than the one heading the other way!

Distracted Drivers
Saw a DS/DS MCS west on 120 in Grayslake, drove right buy him, but no wave... he had his cell phone stuck in his ear!
As much as we would like to think otherwise, not all MINI drivers are focused on their rides!
As far as who waves, I would say 70%, with a gender split of about 50/50.
I'll wave if I see you, or wink my new eyes (thank you Dustin).

For every 5 Minis I see, I'll probably only get 2 waves....and I really try to wave at all of them.
saw allblack05S in naperville sunday evening around 630 pulling out of bill jacobs! you pulled right behind me at the light there but i didnt wave cause i was not in my mini and i didnt think you would have recognized me. i was in the daily junk mercury mistake with the big cb antenna!! haha
I ALWAYS wave! ALWAYS!
I have MINI-radar...I can think to myself "I'm going to see an MINI" and no sooner that I think that, one pops on the horizon. Sometimes the color is even correct. Its OK, don't be jealous. I use my gifts for good, not evil.
