Spotted a very nice Black JCW R56 MCS on Saturday July 5th in Evanston. JCW kit, OZ rims, black(jcw?) side scuttles. Very nice looking MINI, parked in front of me on Chicago street.

• PS/B MCC - pulled past you on wb Golf Rd/Milwaukee @ 8:30am. looks like you had a close call there at the light...
• DS/B MCS - Arlington Hts Rd/90 @ 6pm. Thanks for the wave with cell in hand

 

Today spotted and chatted with a club member in an IB/B MCS between Schaumburg Rd and Motorola Dr on Meacham.

Spotted:
• LY/W MC Westbound on Euclid about 9:50 a.m. at Arlington Park
• CR/W MC Westbound on Euclid about 9:55 a.m. at NW Highway
• CR/B MCS waiting to turn East on Euclid around Gibbons or Forest about 10
• IB/B MCS turning North onto Patriot Blvd from Lehigh around 8:15p.m.

I was on the Vespa so no waves back from the thumbs up given.

 

Spotted Zagadka this morning. She followed me from Richmond to Volo on 12.

I saw a few MINIs out there today. If you were driving a Cool Blue cabrio westbound on Rt. 176 today, I only spotted you right as you were passing me. Same if you were driving a (black, I think) R56 MCS west on Rt. 60 (I think). I did catch a CR/W with the UJ roof on Sheridan Rd. in Evanston, thanks for the wave-back...

 

Did anyone else see the 2 Red Bull promotional MINIs yesterday? We were on Golf and had just past Patrick MINI when I spotted 2 big cans of Red Bull on the roof of 2 Lightning Blue MINIs! We could not catch up to them but they were heading towards the city.

 

Blue, British-flagged roof & mirrors R50 MC in Danada West parking lot, Wheaton. She flashed me a smile and the Peace sign!

Now that's Deluxe!

 

I saw one of the Red Bull MINI's on 290 while heading south from Schaumburg yesterday afternoon about 2:45. It was going the other way.

I was in my 02 DS/W MCS. That later in overheated. :(

well I saw a few there... no one waved back IN the city, but someone towing a Classic clubman entering the city between tolls did wave back...

did see a lot while I was on foot, tooting around the city...

 

Met a lady with a new/used 2003 SG/B MC at the DMV today. We were both getting plates at the same time.

 

Rich finished mine I get it back tomorrow. I'm remaking my light bar so no Yankee Stadium lights for a few days.

Honestly, it's pretty hard to catch waves in city traffic even if you wanted to. Too much to pay attention to that's more important.

 

I would have chased you down for a wave Xiek but I hardly ever get into the city proper anymore.

 

Difficult maybe... Impossible... NO... :P

Just spotted this morning from my wife's car:
EB/B with black bonnet stripes behind me in the left turn lane on Stearns at 59 waved got a 2 handed wave back
