Pre 05 CR/B R53 black scoop, Cubbie logo on the head rest and a German Shepard in the passenger seat, this evening around 19:15 in Crystal Lake from 176 on up to Bull Valley rd

Also saw a PH/W R53 when we passe 176 and 31, you pulled into the Shell station there.

Went to the Dental Office Building in Aurora and there were 3 Mini's all parked in a row (Yellow and Red S's and a Clubman). I added mine to the collection during my enjoyable visit to the dentist

yesterday I was at a car show in Palatine and saw:

DS/B driving through the garage... I yelled "Yay! A MINI!" and they waved + laughed.

SB MCS with driving lamps and silver bonnet stripes on the top of the garage.


and those were the only MINIs there.... :(

Spotted Zhenya13 on Gross Point road in Skokie this evening with a bicycle strapped on the top of his MCS.

I was in the grocery hauler Subaru (actually hauling groceries) so no wave..

 

I had no idea until the day of, it was a last minute thang! It was a HUGE turn out too, but lots of bratty M3 owners. Would have been fun to have some MINI love all up in durrrr.

If it makes you feel better, I didn't even bring my ride... we stuffed my BF's drag bike into the back of a sprinter van instead!

 

 

Went to Randall 15 in geneva to see the new Harry Potter Movie and parked next to a nice pepper white MCS with black bonnet strips

 

Yellow R56 MCS with driver's side offset stripe, followed by a PW R50 with a dog in the back seat. Sheridan/Devon-ish (Loyola).

 

Red Cooper S w/white roof and white bonnet stripes going East on rt. 176 this morning at about 6:15am, could not tell the model year because i was too busy waving! no wave back! :(

Pulled up behind MINISTI2005 yesterday at a stoplight in Deerfield.. He was in his BMW convertible, but I did get a wave and a hello!!

 

Spotted BENNETTSKIS heading south on Edens at Old Orchard road this morning!!

I was on the motorcycle in a traffic jam heading north so no wave.

 

Spotted several MINIs today... I was driving like a nut so I could pick-up my car after cabrio roof repairs before the garage closed for the day...

spotted DanC at Golf Rd/River Rd @ 530pm... I was the nut waving at you in the JB/W MC.. it was a loaner

 

Passed a HzB MCc northbound on Edens this morning cruising top down in the drizzle

No wave, but I may have caught the guy by surprise...

 

Can't remember his name but he works at the Northshore Mosquito Abatement and drives a pretty nice black MCS. Got a wave as I rolled through Northfield.

EB MCS - "fishy" MINI - at Golf Rd/Arlington Hts Rd @ 830am. I was sitting in the turn lane as it passed. Haven't seen "fishy" in a long time...
