Last Sunday (right after I had gotten a carwash got a big wave from a guy in a Red (chili pepper?) and white mini at Elston and Webster.

 

Yesterday I saw a MY/W with checkerboard roof graphic at the Schaumburg Convention Center. While I was there I met BtyMini as she was lured in by the sight of my MINI and all the shiny Carbon Fiber parts on display.

On the way home I spotted a MINI, it was dark and traveling north on Orchard road in Aurora. I was in the truck and my MINI was in the trailer in front of me.

i think it was 2percooper's old ride. looked fantastic without
bonnet stripes. i took mine off too.

I saw a bunch of Minis around the clark and roscoe area today. My S was parked on Roscoe just West of Clark. I was in the Pick Me Up Cafe with the girlf.

It is so dark in the side streets of Harwood Heights that, all I know for sure is that it was a MC?S? DS/B heading north on Olcott at Ainsle. I got back what I thought was a thumbs up Again, that dark, I couldn't even verify type of response.

YAY! Another MINI In my neighborhood? Wow, that would be cool!

Received a thumbs up today from my twin (Red with white roof and mirrors). On 63rd before 53. I gave one back!

And then not 2 minutes later I was on 53 (around maple) and was behind another twin! triplets!

 

9:10am, RTE 60 in Mundelein:

the sun was in my eyes and i got a wave from what i think was a IB/W MC<S?>

12:30ish, RTE 60 in Mundelein:
LB/W with stripes...no wave...

Sounds like the way I drive when I see an exit ramp curve beckoning to fling my car around! LOL at the dingleberry who wrote that and doesn't realize curves and offramps are posted with a "recommended speed", and that making a Mini do 20mph behind them on an exit ramp is akin to cruel and unusual punishment to the Mini driver.

Anyway, just curious if this is someone here who would confess to driving spiritedly.

At my school, North Central College, I spotted a Chili Red MC parked and saw a Chili Red MCS with a JCW vinyl on the side. Pretty sweet lookin JCW!!
