Okay, so I was out in Chicago visiting a friend of mine this past weekend. We didn't get out all that much, but in the time we were wandering her neighborhood (and an adjoining one) I counted 5 MINIs in 2 days! Your town is crawling with them!

I saw a mini cooper convertible at 5:10 pm today at the corner of Washington and Canal downtown. It had a can that was between 5 and 6 feet tall in the back seat that was painted either the colors of a beer can or one of those high caffeine drinks. The car was painted the same colors. The first mini I have seen in weeks and this one is a rolling commercial!

 

Spotted this morning around 9am:

• MC - BRG/B @ Golf Rd/Arlington Hts Rd - tried to wave as you drove by
• MCS - PW/B @ 90/Arlington Hts Rd exit - not sure if you saw me flying by

 

Sounds like the Red Bull MINI. Silver and blue, right?

Sighting:

Parked next to a silver MCS yesterday at Ritzi's on Algonquin. Is it nerdy to park next to another MINI when you see one? Do I care? (probably not)

I'm thinking Blake is referring to "clay bar". I just don't have the patience to do that myself. Maybe I'll have to find someone to do that for me before the first snow

 

i didn't spot blockh, but i spotted a purple MC cabrio going down Dundee (east bound)
in Barrington today around 10am in the wooded area. lady driver, dark hair.

Its the regular roadside assisstance #. You call them and they call us. Sorry, its not 24hr, just 7am-6pm Mon- Sat. Its one of our techs that is on call.

 

Just get a shaded area, and a spot where its warm enough

I just detailed mine, the clay was at the end of last moth, this was a luck break in the weather to get things all cleaned up again. And BTW since Pearls clean, anyone want to have a meet now before she gets dirty again?

I've got a bunch of spottigns in the past two days, I'll have to complie a list and upload a few photos before I post it though.

also spotted IB/W (actually, it was so dirty i couldnt tell at first...get a wash!!! )
MCS at ToysRUs parking lot in GlendaleHts (off ArmyTrail Rd) around 1:30pm.

 

Saw a really sweet blue/black MCS with color-matched wheel well trim, black hood stripes, and an aero kit. This was on Rand Rd around 4:30. It was too cool to not be someone on the board, so fess up!

 

I saw a pepper white MCCS in the McDonalds on University Dr. in Madison, Wisconsin today. It had Patrick plate frames. I was in a Hyundai Santa Fe so didnt waive.
