Spotted this morning on the northbound Edens around 7:15 AM:
BRG/W MC non-waver and first time I ever saw some one driving a MINI with a scowl on their face.
IB/W MCS, got a wave after exiting on to westbound Willow.

 

I had a scowl last night after my ticket for violating a median making a turn at Waukegan and Golf

 

which 'burb? MG? VoG? GV?? I could see MG or VoG doing that... that sucks

 

Morton Grove. It is right on the border of all three places.. $75 to get my license back.

 

Ouch! Sorry about that!!! My wife was stopped for doing the same thing here in St. Charles last year.... cop was right behind her. She had to go to drivers school.

We were stopped in NY on Thanksgiving day 40 miles from our destination. The officer asked where we were going and how long we had been driving. We told him to my grandparents house in Wellsville NY for Thanksgiving dinner (it was about 3pm). He told us to slow down to 74 mph and let us go We debated the rest of the way if he let us go because we were 1) in a MINI or 2) going to grandma's house for TG dinner??

Sorry to hear about that. I would have to say that your scowl would have been justified though.

 

I just realized how creepy "violating a median" sounds.

 

I swear I had my pants on the entire time!

 

No spottings today or yesterday or my last tank of gas Where did all the MINIs go?


Everyone be careful with the snow coming. I'm going to make way for the MINI in the garage and put the took hook back on with a fresh coat of paint.

 

Spotted a couple of MINIs today between 1-1:30pm.. no waves. I had to drive back home during lunchtime to get my wallet .

NOW, I'm leaving work to go Xmas shopping Will it snow?? If so, how much??? It's e-brake time again

 

So farsounds like it'll hold off to midnight, right about when I head out to go running, I'll have to scout out a p-lot to see how the summer tires hold up to the snow, they've handle the rain and cold better than expected thus far (no spirited but certainly adequate for normal driving), I may just turn these into all seasons

 

We've got a bit of dusting on the ground here in STC. It's stopped snowing for the moment.

 

Spotted a AB/B MCS in Target parking lot (Higgins/Meachem) -- I was walking out and you were driving off around 8pm...

Drove home after eatting dinner and it started to sleet. Would have preferred snow to sleet actually. I guess we'll see how much is on the ground in the morning...

 

Cabrio in Palatine 23:15 14 and Colfax I was the MINI coming round the corner, I'm sure you'd remember me.

 

Well my flight to DC this morning and the rescheduled flight this afternoon were both canceled. I guess it's a good thing.... time to motor in the snow

Speaking of snow and MINIs, did anyone see the MINI driver who was interviewed on CNN at a gas station yesterday down in NM? He was filling up a CR/W MC. I think he said snow wasn't going to stop him!!

 

Tell you what, snow IS going to stop me! May car is in the garage and there it will stay. I am thinking that it will not leave the driveway for a few months. Good thing the driveway is big. Time to get a battery charger hooked up to the MINI.

Paul, perhaps you will be able to make it tomorrow, that is if WAY makes it out today.

 

Spotted a VR/B MC on E Euclid Rd/ west of Rand... parked nicely in the snow around 9:30am

So Chicagoland MINIs!!! are you playing in the snow today??? You know the old saying... if you can't laugh at yourself...

So I drove to work this morning... such fun . took me a little over an hour to go 10 miles. I get to the lot and it's partially plowed ... so I have a little fun and I get stuck in the snow I dig myself out and proceed to the office (hoping no one saw me ) I get in and I realize I lost my ID in the snow, probably when I was digging myself out what a day

 

I took a drive out to south elgin today around 10:30 to get my new winter wheels and tires put on. My runflats were literally BALD. zero tread on front tires. I'm lucky to be alive

 

We went into Geneva for breakfast. We were plowing the way down Rt 38... with a Honda Element following in our new tracks The MINI just keeps on going... when it hit spots that would have caused my other cars to start to drift out of control, the DSC light just blipped DSC is worth every penny.

Spotted on the way to the Way Mod Party today around 11am:

• CR/B MSC on wb 88 and 56, you got off at Galena Rd?? we passed each other a couple of times.. but no wave or eye contact

 

GP saturday around 1245pm parked in front of Joy Yee on Halsted in University Village. My fiance was even drooling. I got the "why didn't we get that one?"

Yesterday between 08:30a and 9:00a heading east on I88.

IB??/B MC, a couple of cars behind me, it was really dirty. Unable to wave. Older gentleman driver.
PW/B heading west on 88 near Winfield Rd. @ 9am
CR/B MC heading west on 88 near Naperville Rd.
