I saw 2 MINIs on my way back to work.

HB/B MCS Eastbound on Lake Cook 2:45ish

I did not bother waving as I was in the super cool work MINI van! I hate that thing!

 

HB/B MCS with Union Jack mirror caps parked near Dogout/Erehwon in Bannockburn @ 1:30pm today

 

I was in Rockford today. I don't usually see any MINIs there but today I did. A CR/W with white wheels westbound on the route 20 bypass while I was eastbound around11:00 a.m. I don't think he/she saw me since we were going different directions on a divided expressway. So no wave.

I also saw an LY convertible on 90 west of Elgin around 9:15. Again I don't think he/she saw me for the same reasons.

Tonight I went to Statsville Prison Haunted house in Joliet. After, I was in the theater parking lot near there and I see minigrrl000's MC. I knew it was hers because of her cool boot and side stripes. Like the good MINI owner that I am I pulled out a motoring citation and filled it out. I left it under the wiper.

Let's see if she reports this here in NAM. I was on a first date at the time and she didn't think I was a complete nut, she may be a keeper.

Haha!! Thanks for that motoring citation Blockh102!! Coming out of the movie theater seeing a couple doing a complete walk around of my mini had me a little worried!! As I approached my car they informed me that I had a citation on my window, after looking at it I kindly informed them it was a good citation!! I was so exicited to have my first NAM sighting and pretty giddy about my motoring citation my boyfriend got a good laugh out of it...and it sounds like to me your first date might be a keeper

It was pretty funny when my boyfriend asked me who blockh102 was...I said "well I've never met him but I know he's got a Hyber Blue Supercharged Mini with white bonnet stripes!!

 

So, we have one successful report from Minigrrl, now do we have a 2nd in reference to above, do we have a 2nd date?
