HAHA YES I WAS. Just got an engine installed. Had a loaner for a week and a half. I MISSED MY CLUBMAN!

was just visiting a friend in evanston, near Northwestern... and WOW mini'S EVERYWHERE! yall know how to roll up there!

 

Timing chain broke and damaged the entire engine. So got a whole new one under warranty

 

Thank goodness it's covered! I bet you're glad to have your car back.

I'll keep an eye out for you in da city ... You probably won't see many Camdens and I probably won't see many Clubmans like ours.

I've got a question to all drivers.... I keep seeing an AB/W MCS, guessing a 05? It's ALWAYS running on 53 north to lake cook road at about 7:40 am. The windows are dark, the plate cover is tinted.. And even at 80mph, this one cruises by me every morning... Anyone know this car... I like the exhaust, and the wheels...at least what I can see.

I know I use to have a HB/W MCS, and now the DS/W MCS throws people off...

But Rock On to the driver... I'd like to shake your hand!!!

There's MINIs freakin' everywhere in this city. I never thought I'd see a MINI like mine (JB/JB/JB base model + S-Lites, JCW Grille, Catback) but lo and behold, heading north on Lakeshore maybe two-three months ago, same exact car.

Though I'm usually seen on my '79 Honda more than anything if I'm in the city.

 

This may be a bit out of the Chicagoland area, but I exchanged waves with a sweet looking all black R56 S about 10 miles west of Rockford.

 

I see the same all black,blacked out windows 06 MCS in the Hanover Park,Carol Stream area. Who are you?

I've seen you everywhere... I work on weekends in Carol Stream, near Schmale and Fullerton. I thought it was my old car, til I realized it had a black roof!!!

I'm driving a DS/W MCS with Firefighter plates on it.. And NO Front Plate!!
- It's loud, has road rashed wheels from the last owner that parked by braille...

Yeah but apparently last week someone was driving it and didn't wash it or put any gas in it.

 

Put Gas in it?? Hell, I'm lucky that I made it out of your neighborhood with the 4 miles left on the gas tank.... I haven't figured out how to get my car to run on AIR, but please let me know.

 

You just need ***** to not believe the range on the obc. You would get better range if you got out of 4th on the highway though. :P
