Just saw a CR/W R53 MCS running on I94 east between dundee rd and tower rd. Had the license plate "DINAN"... and DAMN, was it fast!! Never seen the car before, and it was running a miltek exhaust, I think. Tinted windows, I think it was a male driver. Silver or chrome aftermarket wheels.... Anybody know them?

 

If you say it was fast, I can only imagine..

 

should have had a Dinan exhaust!

 

Saw two MINIs in DeKalb today around 13:45. Both waved.

First was a Black Countryman (S, I think) driving west on Lincoln Highway.

Second was a yellow R56 coupe with black checkered flag decals heading south on Route 23/Sycamore Road.

 

You spotted 2 more CMMC members.. They have now traded in the orange one for the Countryman.. They commented that they both saw you and waved back!!

 

I ran into a coupe going north in the express lanes on the Kennedy! We had a bit of fun all the way till about the willow road exit on the Edens. I couldn't really tell if it was a guy or girl driving because of the tints. What a nice looking car!

Saw a red roadster yesterday in Wheaton/Carol Stream, then again a few min. later in West Chicago on Rt. 59. Got a smile and a wave.

MCC in highclass grey (woot!) parked in Highland Park. License plate was "harmini". We were two spots over in a spice orange MCCS

 

R53 with windshield banner "Cooper S"....Dundee Rd in Northbrook/Wheeling...I flashed my lights, you waved.

 

driving thru the walmart parking lot in skokie and had to stop and let the two get acquainted.

 

One of my neighbors here in Bronzeville has a CR/B JCW Clubman, but I never saw it moving until this past weekend. Thanks for the wave, whoever you are!

 

I have definitely seen that mini before in Highland Park because that license plate sounds oddly familiar, plus I'm from the Highland Park area

 

Spotted a white Roadster with silver stripes on Lincoln Ave. in Skokie this evening.. No wave since I was on foot, but was wearing my MINI hat.

 

Traveling down 355 Monday morning and a PW/B Cooper coupe came alongside me and we exchanged waves. My first coupe to coupe encounter outside of club events.

 

I just saw the same PW/B cooper coupe THIS morning!! We were on 355 south. We both exchanged waves and continued on seperate paths. I think he liked my green wheels!
