Production Week 37 (September 11) Support Group
My car is supposed to dock on the 28th and my MA said it should be available for pick up by the 7th of Oct. I really hope so as I'm flying into there on the 11 or 12th... Docking in SC and picking up in Ohio.

My car is supposed to dock in SC on the 28th and arrive at the dealership in a week or 10 days. I've not been able to track the BOL number, nor the voyage number. Will try deep breathing, wait patiently, and forget about tracking dots across the pond.
Funny thing is Matt Lunetta is my MA also... I just wonder if my car is somewhere between England and here (or is here) and my vin was just hosed to begin with. When I called ASKMINI last week and spoke with Jason he told me that they can no longer track our cars and to speak with your MA. (He tried to track down information and left me a message the next day that the group had a meeting to discuss the very issue, but that they couldn't track it.) Maybe I'll call again just to see, since no one seems to know anything.
Has your dot ever moved past "Awaiting Transport"?
WyNG, My dot moved from "Awaiting Transport" to "En Route"; however, my Mini had been at sea five days before the dot moved. I just checked the OL to see where the dot is today. It's still on the "En Route." I did notice the disclaimer at the bottom of the list that tells us to check with our dealers who might have more up-to-date information than the OL.
Duh, we've all discovered that to be the truth. :impatient I'm beginning to think the OL is in its Beta stage, and we're just lured into testing it.

Our cars look to be outfitted pretty close to the same with the exception of the color and your LSD. Did you order a 6-speed or automatic transmission? I just got off calls with ASK-MINI and then my MA at Mortiz, and both say my car is STILL AT THE DOCK WAITING TO BE LOADED ON A SHIP!
My MA told me a story about how Mini was discontinuing the '06 Automatic sooner than the 6-speed so they made a bunch Automatics and they were shipping them before the manuals. That doesn't make much sense. I could understand bumping production to finish the Autos and delay the manuals, but if both cars are built and sold why should the Autos take shipping priority over the manuals??? I feel like I'm being fed a line....
Ordered Aug 11, still sitting on the dock. I'm beginning to think 'Goodberry' was damaged and they are doing the fix aren't telling anyone. I'm really going to check him over if he ever swims across the pond.
You guys who are sitting with me... when was your order date?

YD I know how frustrating that is.. the weirdest thing for me was the fact that every sourcet indicated MOE was still on the docs a full 4 days after he set sail... its hard to trust anything. I hope Goodberry is in fine favor and found himself a secret ship... maybe its just a cardboard cutout on the docks!
Basil was ordered on 8/27, spent some time being confused about his VIN, and was finished around the 14th. He was on a boat for 5 days before I found out that he was not sitting around the docks (sailed to the left coast on the 18th). Should be in Port Hueneme on the 10th of October.
This schedule seems a rather mysterious thing, including dealer allocations at the factory, and numerous other meterological issues too complicated to consider.

Goodberry got to the docks on the 15th. Been there ever since. He will go to Charleston then to Nashville to see John Monk (The Beast of Nashville) my MA.
I"ll bet'cha they dropped a crane on him or something really bad.
Maybe an asteroid smacked him right on his bonnet.
There was an earthquake and he fell into the bay.
As you can tell, my meditation isn't working. Maybe I should stand out there in the mudflats.

You can get a motoring id through the owner's lounge. Just pick one, get some vinyl stickers or have one made at a sign shop and slap that bad boy on the back of your MINI. Other MINI drivers can jot it down or remember it and message you by that through the OL. Can being the key word, I'm not sure it has ever been used for that purpose.
Once the ship(Undine) is in port, you cannot track it. We are on schedule for delivery to Newark on Thursday.I wonder how long prep time is and is it done at the dock or at the dealer or both? My dealer is Princeton which is close to Newark. Next week pick up maybe?
when the ability to track the undine stopped it was no where near port. I spoke to my ma yesterday and he stated that he will see my car mid next week, so i would assume you should see it a few days before I.
I called my MA at Princeton yesterday. He said 2 weeks max from when the Patriot docked...which was the 24th. I'd say we'll probably get our cars this weekend, though. Fingers crossed...
If you plot out the coordinates given to you on the tracking website you could see that the ship is docked in Halifax. Hopefully it will be on it's way to New York shortly!
