Nope, I worked with Chad who is the sales manager and he really took care of me (he wants to sell my Mum a car in the near future) so he just gave me the paper work there and then. But you can call your MA and ask for it, or call 1-800-ASK-MINI, i'm sure they have that info also.
Besides that, I'm pretty sure you will come on the same boat, same port as me.

With Michigan as the delivery location, I am assuming NY.
Revealing my age here, but when I took delivery of our brand new Saab 9000t in August of '87, the delivery guy in Sweden gave be the break-in instructions of just keep the RPM's under 5k (6.5k red line). Instructions that I followed to the letter once I hit the autobahn. 4.5k netted 125mph, at which point I backed off. Car ran wonderfully.

So i just check out the week 21 support group, a bunch of them have their cars built and on the ship heading over.
Observation being, that will be us in 2 weeks. It will be on the way over in 2 weeks time.

yeah you're right, it does sound better that way
Arg, i think i want to change from a black roof and stripes to white roof and stripes. I just e-mailed Chad the sales manager at Ottos, i'll call him tomorrow also. Is it too late to change options do you think?
i think it looks better, but it scratches and swirls so easily, where as the white one doesn't. Either way, if it is too late i'm not too upset cause i love how it looks, but white would make me happy also.
Crossing Europe in our week 23 Mini

Guess how we're breaking our Mini girl in...
Check the itenerary!
Between July 30 until Sept 2 2008 we're taking delivery of our new Lightning Blue Mini Cooper S, with sport suspension. Let's break in the Mini in style, transecting Europe.
A little about us: we're crazy about renaissance history, love castles and love car rides. We've got a GPS and no kids. The cities are firm for personal reasons.
Sept 5-6-7 Arezzo Tuscany for the Joust of the Saracens
Staying at Hotel Planet in Rigutino and Hotel Continental in Arezzo
(http://www.lifeinitaly.com/tourism/tuscany/horse-jousting.asp)
Sept 8-9 Leave Arezzo for Bern, Switzerland. This is the portion I'm looking for feedback. From IT to CH, which pass should we take? (i.e. Autostrada with mountain passes)? Alpineroads.com helps but I'm shaky here...I’ve read everything I can find and am uncertain about this portion.
Sept 10-11 Leave Bern for Eindhoven, Netherlands. Stopping at Drielandipunt labyrinth! (recommended in “1,000 places to see before you die”)
http://www.drielandenpunt.nl/
Sept 12-15 Amsterdam, staying with a friend for free, helps the budget!
Sept 16-18 Heidelberg Germany (staying on the US base-price, the reason for Heidelberg) Would like to explore portions of the Romantic Road, CASTLES from the windows of my Mini
Sept 19-23 Edelweiss Lodge in Garmisch, commuting into Munich daily for Oktoberfest!
Oktoberfest itself has lots of threads on Fodors.com and various sites.
WOO HOO
Can hardly wait... just need my Mini to get it all started!!!!!!!!
