Spinning when shifting to second

So I used to get this loud wheel spinning noise when driving hard and shifting into second and looses sum traction (with ASC off) now i've changed my tires it doesnt make the sound anymore and looses minimum traction, as the tires are just biting to the road. I take the "snap" change (when the sound comes) is a indicator of bad tires? What is the story surronding "snap" changes?

thanks

same here.. So whats the deal about it, if you dont get the tire screeching noise any longer does that mean its better ? or does it slow you down to some effect?

LOSS OF TRACTION SLOWS YOU DOWN

so the greater the loss of traction, it causes the screeching sound? but the less traction loss, it causes non or minimum screeching?

"Snap Change" isn't a generally used term where I live, but maybe it is to Driv3r. Seems like they are talking about shifting quickly to get maximum acceleration.

The sound you hear is not directly associated with worn tires. It is caused by applying excess force to one of the front tires and momentarily spinning it. Stickier tires allow you to add more force before they spin, but every tire has its limits.

Common way to say that would be "chirping" or "spinning" the tires.
