Rally - Just ordered a 16x8 set of these, what's the best tire width on a Mini lowered 2". (215/45?)http://img.inkfrog.com/click_enlarge...&aid=335995961
16X8 / 4X100 / +25 OFFSET LIP SIZE 3".

Are you for or against tire stretch?

If it were MY car I would run 205/45/16 and get something like falken 512's to get stretch since et25 is a tiny bit low for 8s.

You could get away with 215/45/16 if that meets your personal tastes better, though.

I don't mind a little stretch ,but if not needed I'd rather have a normal fit for these rim bending pot holes, and construction sites.

I received the Rims today. They're ET26 not 25 as advertised, how much of a difference will it make. Also I like the Nitto Neo Gen tires (higher speed /load rating), do you know if they'll stretch ok or are the F-512's my best bet?

Won't make much of a difference at all. It's a difference of 1mm in which is 1mm better. I like those wheels btw.

26-25=1 so they'll make 1mm of difference :P Which is basically no difference.

I have never tried nittos before.

Didn't think there would be much, but I wanted to be sure so I asked.
I Like Nittos because they're quiet and grippy. They also have rim protectors on them, but I'm not sure about their stretching characteristics.

No not yet, I have to test fit tires to check for rubbing then powder coat with clear or Gloss Black before I put them on. I may need some camber in the rear.

will 17x8 et35 be okay? I want to run stock camber and can't decide between 205 45 17 or 205 40 17. Also ill be lowered on kw v2 coil overs and be dropped to maybe 1 finger gap. Any help is appreciated! I just don't want to rub too much......haha

With 17x8 et35 you will be golden. That will sit in about 5mm or so from the gender. Get 205/40 and you'll be good.

I feel like the rear either need more camber or more stretch, but nice wheels.

Totally agree. I'm getting about -2 degrees more of camber in the rear, and all new tires that don't suck at stretching like these tires do.

What's your offset/et? I have et26. I'm wondering how much camber I'll need. I purchase rear adju-control arms (H-sport) to be sure.
