I have two options if the brake calipers are too large...

(1) Sell the rims + tires to a friend that told me he would pay the price i payed, since it's brand new. Then order some 16x10's w/ really low profile tires.

(2) Just buy spacers so it will clear the calipers, and stick out even more!! :-P

It will most likely fit the 15x10's without the spacers. Just in case it doesn't, i'm prepared

Im telling you, Id be far more worried about the struts than the calipers. And spacers wont do anything for caliper clearance with a 6" backspace.

Puma, how much clearance do you have on your front struts?

Im not even sure how you're gonna TURN 10" wide wheels up front lol.

It should fit. That blue rally mini said they only did major trimming, major trimming to the front struts? Haha. I didn't get the wheels yet. Diamond racing wheels takes about a month to get 'em, for standard shipping.

There are pictures of what my wheels will look like if you search google "Diamond Racing Wheels" and choose the Honda-tech.com's link: diamond racing wheels anybody rock'n 'em? . Sorry I can't post links since I'm on my iPhone. They're the all white ones that I posted on that site. I think those are 50's but the ones I've ordered are 45 profile.

Yeah the first picture. I know they look generic, but they're really inexpensive. Especially for wide rims. Haha

Do you mean fit the brake calipers? Or the fenders & wheel well? Or all three? :-P

If anything. The rear wheels would fit. If the fronts don't, then I'll just order two 15x9's for the front, and use the 15x10's in the rear.

I've ordered the 15x10's last week Monday. My tires should be coming in sometime this week. Still have to wait for the rims next month. Like I said, if worst comes to worst, I'll be getting 15x9's up front, 15x10's in the rear. Hopefully & most likely, it will be 15x10's all around :-P

You know what, it's a style, a form of customizing... at least they're not lifting them on 26's!!

Good news! My diamond racing wheels are ready to ship! I think they're charging my card tomorrow so hopefully I get the rims within two weeks.

I have some team dynamics 1.2's that are 17X8 offest 40, im lowering my R53 on Vmaxx coils and was wondering what tires you think i should get. I had a 235/40 mounted for fun and i could see that the wheels are defintly gonna be poking. I was wondering if i could get away with 215/40/17.

17X8 +40 will be far from poking.

I think 215/40 would be cool. I'd either run that or a 205/45. Both will look pretty similar though.

You may need spacers to clear the vmaxx struts up front though.

@1:43, i'm pretty sure those are the 15x10 white diamond racing wheels, same ones that i've ordered. One of my favorite videos btw!

Do you have any idea where I could find some pictures of a 8inch wide wheel with 215's on it?

Thanks for the help

sweet site. I think im gonna end up going with 215/40/17 to stay on the safe side. 225 would be awesome but its hard to find 225/40 tires, and i dont want to rub all the time when im lowerd.

Ok the vmaxx coils are on, with my stock 17"s i had to put spacers in the front. Im hoping maybe i wont need them with the 215's on the 8" wide. If the offset makes it work. I hate spacers.

Anyone know where to get longer studs for the front? I bought lug studs and wanted to install them but im thinking i might want to get longer ones.
