Anyday now... Note to self "never use parcel post" lol.

I'll be posting pictures of my current setup later, I'm on my iPhone right now. I think they are 17x7's. Not sure. My friend let me borrow the wheels 'til I get my set.

EDIT:

They look alright, but doesn't have the wide look i want lol.

Haters can hate, lol. Idc. I'm still putting the 15x10's on. :-P

Edit: lol, I just read the deleted message (from my email). I assumed someone was posting negative comments about the car pictures. Sorry.

They came in the mail today!!! I'm not sure if they will fit though lol, i think i've ordered too high of a backspace (6"), for a 10 inch rim.

Someone on this forum said that 6" backspace works. But i think the rim will go far too in. Will i be able to use spacers?

Rich at Bogart wheels did a great job. I'd highly recommend their work.

I dunno man thats et12. You really arent gonna want to run an offset lower than that. Try and fit them, and go from there. Rally says you will have the inner clearance, and I believe him.

Test fit them now and see before you mount the tires.

Yah you've got the wheels in your hand. It shouldn't take more than 20 minutes to go outside and just test fit them. That's your best bet right now.

This, I gotta see... Props for pushing the envelope, but I think you're in a bit over your head here. I hope it works out for you though!

These things are actually heavy as they mention lol. I think it's 80lbs for all four rims (no tires). I'm going to work now (early) to put on the rims because they have a jack that i can borrow. I'll let you all know how it all goes... :-P.

Well the tool they have here is too big too fit my lug bolts. I'm just going to the shop to see if they could test fit them. They also said that spacers (if I need them) will cost $70 each! Minus well buy another set of rims for that price ($110 each rim). I'll let you know later tonight. If they do fit, they'll be putting them on (with tires) tomorrow morning :-)

EDIT: Lol, it looks so nice! But they said that the rear rims barely touch the swing bar (What ever that is :-P). So they could order 0.5 or 1 inch spacers. Which one should i get? And I'll be getting longer lug bolts so all this will cost me another $150-$200 LOL.

Does anybody know exactly what i'm going to have to cut? Mzman mentions that he cut metal. Which metal exactly? For the rear, front, both? The shop should figure it out but i'd like to give them as much information as possible.

On a other note. If anybody's ordering diamond racing wheels, make sure you get 5" or less backspace lol. 6" is too far in. Maybe it's because he has a Mini Cooper S and i have the regular?

Lol what?! you want to add one inch spacers on the wheels that are already gonna poke too much? I don't advise that. You'd be poking nearly 2 whole inches if you installed one inch spacers.

I just pulled the trigger on the Keskin KT1, 16 x 7.5 for the fronts and 16 x 9 for the back, I was not going to lower the car, but seems that situation may have changed, going to try and fit 225 50 16s on these, hopefully they fit. Should if all goes well have them on for the dragon

Yah, a stance like that will just look silly if not lowered.

Poke + stock height = no good.

You sure about the 225's on the 9's? 215's will help you get the clearance necessary to run them. 9 isn't an easy width to fit in the first place, and the tires you've chosen are humongous.

You sure about the 50 sidewall too? seems really really tall for 225's.

You'll be much better off running 205/45/16 up front and 215/40/16 on the rears.

I am no expert on this, but sizes are about an inch smaller in overall diameter, again i am not sure what exactly will fit, I may go with a 225 45 16, that is a bit closer, need an overall diamter of about 24.4 to 24.9,

Good luck

I still vote for 215/40 on the rear so they don't rub or look like a monster truck...but that's just me.

So i should get the 1/2 inch spacers? the only way for the rim not to rub my "swing bar" is to get spacers. Since i should'ved ordered 5" backspace instead of 6". I was thinking mzman's suspension is probably different too, that's why he could fit 6" backspace.

The shop say's that i could trim the swing bar but it's highly not recommended, easier to just get wheel spacers. What do you think?

Spacers are your only option now aside from selling the wheels and getting something with a reasonable width and offset.

I've decided to get the 1/2 inch spacers. I know someone that wants the buy my rims (same price what i paid for) but i'm going to see if i can get these working because I WAS going to sell them and just get 5" backspace thus, having a deeper rim but i don't want to wait another 3-4 weeks for shipping, + for them to make the custom rims. I really wished they've fit with 6" backspace, would'ved been putting them on today :-/

When he put those diamond racing wheels on, the rim stuck out about 2-3 inches LOL. Sweet!
