Anyone know where to get longer studs for the front? I bought lug studs and wanted to install them but im thinking i might want to get longer ones.
Turner Motorsports has a good selection of longer studs.

Since i've ordered a very low offset, i shouldn't be worried about it rubbing on the inside right? Just the outside (Fenders)?

^^You have a low offset but you're wheels are still really wide.

You're 15x10 et12 wheels will have 22mm LESS inner clearance than my 15x8 et15 wheels.

Thats why I'm telling you you're gonna be cutting it REALLY close in the front. I dont think I have 22mm of space between my wheel and my strut.

He should be fine on the inside. Same inner clearance as a 9 et25.

They're just gonna poke WAY too much, especially up front.

^^Im still not 100% sold on that inner clearance. I think he's gonna be within millimeters of his front struts. Tire sizes are gonna be important.

I do agree with the poke issue though. But I guess some would argue that my car pokes too much too. I just wanna know if these things clear the brakes. Once I see his car sittin on the new wheels, Im gonna sell my Sportmaxes and buy a more reasonable size lol.

Should i lower my car to make the wheel gap smaller or put thicker tires on there?

Wait so why are you buying 15x10's if you saw how goofy your car looked like that? Do you at least have springs or anything?

I've decided to go wider, then get airbags/coilovers. How much will airbags cost? $1,000?
And i'm getting taller tires than my old 16x8 setup.
45's vs 40's.

Will I be damaging my wheel bearings, running 15x10?? How is that blue rally mini running them without damage?

$2,000 excluding the additional cost of coilovers and installation.

Of course you'll be damaging the wheel bearings. You're gonna be running 15x10's et12. That's a massive amount of additional leverage/load on the bearings.

You're aware that that blue mini is a designated autocross competition car not a daily driver right? Autocross courses are tiny, he probably puts 20 miles a year on those wheels at most. Cars like that are either trailered to events or are driven there on stock wheels and then they get the race wheels installed once they're at the event.

Haha how are you not sold on it? Throw 10 et12 into an offset calculator versus 9 et25 and then look at puma's car or miniboy's car. Like I said, 10 et12 has the same inner clearance as 16x9 et25 and there are multiple people running that without clearance issues. It's 100% proven that it will clear on the inside.

the only issue will be that it also pokes a FULL inch MORE than puma's setup, which is just silly.

Are trucks built with better wheel bearings or something? *noob question*.
I see all these old toyotas with 15x10 225/50/15's driving around all the time!

How about 15x8 et12? I think i could just return the 15x10's and get 15x8 et12 and still use the same tires i bought (225/45/15).

Totally different geometries. Same is true of RWD cars as well. They are designed to run much wider, lower offset wheels.

et12 is still a low offset. You're still going to decrease the lifespan of the bearings....it just won't be as quick as it would be with 15x10's and that offset.

15x8's et12 won't fit with 225's installed.

Lol..
You should've thought about it before you purchased 15x10 wheels...

How often would i need to replace the bearings? If it's every year, then not too bad.

Is that why my car is shaking when i drive? and constantly turning to the right? I thought maybe it was just my alignment.

Why wouldn't 225's fit the 8's?

^^Yea but thats not enough stretch to really get low

For now you'll be fine if you're running stock suspension (aside from looking kinda silly)

Is there any way to make sure the wheel bearings don't fail? besides not using wide rims & changing axels. Any wheel bearing upgrades?

No our wheel bearings a pre-pressed in the hubs from the factory. There aren't any aftermarket options as far as I've ever seen.
