Speedo is 5 mph fast, which really comes in handy given the low speed limits in Colorado.

I'm not sure what the OEM tire size is for 16s, but the 215/50 should be close. I suspect your speedo will be closer to accurate than mine. You're gonna need to run some camber in the back to get the wheels to fit properly, and if you lower it, the 225s absolutely won't fit. If guys like Rally and not-so-rednwhite are saying they won't fit, take their word for it. They know their stuff.
Sounds like the 215 50 16 is what i am going to use, Hopefully i dont need to change the camber until I lower the car, which will be about a month away,

Thanks for the information, will let you know how this turns out

as far as suspension and wheels go, what do i need to go from stock to something like this hur?

I know it's not stretching alot but i don't care for that look too much. just interested what is needed to accomplish the stance this one has. thanks anyone.
Well those wheels are HRE's, so that right there puts you $4k in debt, but to get that stance, your cheapest option will be Vmaxx coilovers.

I actually asked the shop today about using 5 mm spacers and they said it might work. We're going to try it out on wednesday! I'd rather use the 1/2 inch spacers but idk if it would stick out too much where triming won't let the front wheels turn in all the way.

Ohh thanks for the reply! I'll look into the coilovers! 4k seems like a bit much for wheels (for me). They must add HP or something

A bit, lol. But yeah the stance shouldn't be too difficult to achieve.

Here's his build thread, it should have all the info regarding his actual suspension and wheel specs in it:

Does he ever drive it through the drive-thru for fast food? I've noticed some of the spots here have really narrow drive-ways.

Drop Blocks??? We don't drive trucks with leaf springs. I think you need a good set of coilovers and some new tires with some real stretch. Not that ballooning effect you have now. That way you would have more clearance.

i knew i should've gotten 205/50's. These are 225/50. What's the stiffest coilovers on the market, with lowering adjustments?

^^All coilovers have height adjustment. Most people in it for stance are on Vmaxx because they're cheap and they get the job done. I love my vmaxx coils.

And I'm gonna be completely honest here and I'm probably gonna catch hell for it but this car doesnt look anywhere near as bad as I though it would. In fact, I think it looks pretty damn good. With a few tweaks here and there (ride height and camber) it'll be perfect. I might try and stuff 10s on my rears.

Much props for doin it even though everyone was hating. You proved me wrong.

I'm with Johnny...

Skinnier tires would give you better stretch, def. needs coilovers, and if you score a set of wide-arches, you'll be good.

Vmaxx's won't work because they have **** spring rates. You'll rip the arches right off.

Exactly!!! If i have some people in the backseats (even just one person), going over a speed bump pops the rear arch off. I need to find some really stiff coilovers ASAP!

If anybody needs to know specs, 15x10-6"backspace, Only 3mm spacers in the front! None in the rear. No trimming whatsoever. Just put them on & they're good to go! (Sports Stock Height). Except that you'll need stiffer coilovers for speed bumps and such things.

Funny that you say that, I went to costco last night and right when i pulled in and parked, one of the employees pushing carts told me "I didn't realize how cute mini coopers were". I guess the wide wheels do make it cuter lol.
