I live and work in Festus and have been wondering who the silver convertible was that i've been seeing!!! It's nice to know that I'm not the only one getting the stares and waves around here! I've had mine for over a year and a half now (red with white top and bonnet stripes) and i still get questions and waves and stares!!! I'll wave next time i see you!

 

That was most likely me. I live in Festus and drive a silver with black convertible top. I have checkered mirrors. I will keep an eye out for you and wave if I see you

 

PAT2982 I saw you today, nice MINI. I was in the family minivan, Toyota Sienna. I have the Chili Red with Black top and bonnet stripes MCS. I'll look for you all when we are out. Seems to be more of us around Festus now, we should get together one of these weekends and meet each other, do a mini MINI neighborhood intro secession.

What is everyones thoughts on that from the Festus area? Of course any MINI owner would be welcomed.

Hey, Canary, I saw you today on 44 West. Sorry I didn't wave soon enough--I only saw your rear after you passed me (those BRGs are too stealth! )

It took me awhile to explain to my daughter what your plates stand for ...

 

Wow, you really do suck then. I was driving along side of you for a good 2 - 3 minutes. I saw the stlmini.com sticker, waved like a crazy man. Drove there. Nothing. Drove on. Waved once more as I looked at you in my rearview mirror. And saw you drive on. Never did see you wave back. Heck, didn't even notice you had a daughter with ya! That morning I had a Chilly 'appear' from infront of an SUV as I was leaving my house. We where at a stop light. GIANT SUV blocked my view.

Also another, or the same, Chilly pasted me on my way home. It has custome bonet stripes. Looked like one normal strip down the middle, with thin extra little white ones on either side. Very cool.

 

Man, this is embarassing.
I was having a nice chat with my daughter and wasn't paying much attention to the fast lane. I'll catch you next time !!!

 

I saw an electric blue with black bonnet stripes tues. night at about 9:15pm in o'fallon MO on HWY N.

 

Checkmate, are you ever out in Wentzville? I saw a blue Checkmate in the parking lot at the Home Depot there a few months back. On Valentine's Day I had my first honk-and-wave encounter since picking up our Coop -- a red Checkmate on the Spencer Loop, coming onto the north I-70 service road.

 

I saw a blue convertable yesterday on my way home yesterday on Interstae 55 South. I honked and waved but the young lady was on the phone and think I surprized her.

 

Sunnyhorse, that was me. I work there. So, it's on show everyday safe in the very back of the parking lot.

 

I think I saw you coming the other way on 44 yesterday, or it was another blue MINI. And I am almost always in the fast lane.

I didn't think so ...but I did order a Pepper White/Pepper White Cooper with premium + cold weather packages, a rear spoiler, and Xenon headlights this past January…look for me in and around south city in in the near future

I submitted the form for the membership this evening it looks like the car is still on the boat so i'll just keep hang out for a while and live vicariously through the MINIs I can spot

 

I saw a dark blue with balck top yesterday in Festus on my way home near the hospital and got a great wave.

 

I saw a red with white bonnet stripes and roof yesterday on 141heading towards south to manchester.

 

Coulda been me..... did it have boot stripes and hail dings

I don't remember boot stripes or hail damage. Well I am sorry to hear about the hail. Hopefully they do a good job getting rid of it without too much $$$ involved.

 

I saw a CR/W with white bonnets stripes at Blockbuster in Festus on Sat. I was leaving and did not get a chance to meet whoever it was there.

It wasn't me Scott! I was there this weekend though and saw a couple driving an orange convertible, but didn't get a chance to wave. Blockbuster must be the place to be in Festus lately!
