I was just shocked! No Gold Boot Stripes, so not sure who it was.

Hmmm... 'run you down' sounds bad, how about calmly waved you to stop, and given you a talking to. =)
Thanks chilired04, I look forward to meeting in person some day around town. I did install Hella 500 driving lights on the front of Gunner so if you see us Chili Red with Black top and bonnets stripes, give us a yell.

I just talked with a guy in a Silver MINI with a very large roof rack cage thing on top. We where stuck in traffic next to each other. He is from New York, and goes to Wash U. I invited him to the Rally just for fun, but he didn't know what NAM was!
I let him cut in front of me so he could get gas, and off I went. It was fun. I've always wanted to pull up next to a MINI owner and just start talking.
Its funny how people find it very strange when I go up and talk to them about thier car. I had one lady look at me like I was insaine when I stuck my hand out and said hello.

I saw 33 MINI's on Bluff Road on Sat. Wow what a day, great event and lots of fun. Can't wait for the next one. Who all is going to the Dragon and are we going to get together as a group down there?

I saw a Chille MINI when I was getting on the highway at 44 & 141 yesterday morning around 7:15. It had MINIUSA.COM printed on it, as well as something like 'TireTracks'? on the windshield. Anyone else see this MINI around?
Pat, we live off Danby/Primo road straight down 61. I saw a CR/W MC parked at a home off Hwy 61 near the golf course yesterday too. Don't know if they just bought one or if someone was just visiting.
Was a car behind, and to the left of a Silver MCS today as I went to work, around 7:30am. His plates where : MYT MNI. I never got a good look at him tho. He drove past me as I was stopped at the light, and I turned before I got a chance to wave. Had some very cool looking rims tho.
I was next to a Gold and Black MC with a aero kit on 100W turning on Old State in Ellisville at rush hour.
I never seen that color before...it looked sharp! He would have not seen me since I was in my GMC.

I saw a PW MCS this morning... mint condition... she was beautiful!!!
The funny thing is that it looked like it had never been driven before
that might be... BECAUSE MR. PEP'R WON'T LET ME DRIVE IT UNTIL THE WEATHER IS NICE
Do you know how painful this is to own a mini for... hmmm... approximately 51 hours and 23 minutes and 2.5 seconds WITHOUT EVER DRIVING IT???? :impatient
Please help!!!! I think I need a support group to get through bad weather days
cant' breath....gaspppp..

Well, I have found that it is not just MY mini that brings a smile to my face... it is every mini!
There I was... driving home from work in the rain... in the ol'reliable Ford Focus...thinkin of the mini and the emotional pain we are inflicting upon the Focus because she lost her spot in the garage... let's get to the point...
I had a DOUBLE-MINI-SIGHTING COMMUTE
Mini #1 - a "powder" blue (and I apologize for not knowing the proper color name) with white stripes... on the corner of Newport (or Page) and LaClede Station (next to a Jiffy Lube) around 6:15pm (Thurs June 1st)
Mini #2 - a pure silver with white stripes on 44 westbound who exited on 109 in Eureka
Your cars looked great (even in the rain and I guess they don't melt in the rain Mr. Pep'r!)
Thanks for bringing a smile to my face!!
