Louie has a RAM's antenna ball!! And we won today You really do hang out in the same "hood" as me. Hope to "run" into you soon. I'm sure you are the only MINI in STL with a Packers antenna ball!!!!!!!!!

I am guilty of not always paying attention to other MINI's out there...and vice versa!! I was at Gravois Bluffs the other day and another Yellow MINI was honking away at me!! I did wave back.

I saw the new gold w/black MINI today on Hwy 40 around McKnight/Lindbergh area. Not sure of the official color name. I tried to get their attention...No luck!

Saw a red/black MINI in Forest Park today...parked for the Boathouse?

I've had 2 people follow me recently to find out where I bought my car!!!

 

I am happy to report my first MINI sighting while driving a MINI myself!!! Met a dark silver MCS that was heading east on Dougherty Ferry (near Ballas) while I was west bound. I stuck my hand out the window, gave the thumbs up, and the young couple in the MINI gave me a nice wave back. Chhers! :smile:

 

Last evening, around 6:30 or 7:00 I think, the Bumble and I saw a red MCS at a stoplight in downtown Kirkwood right in front of the city hall. We were pointing opposite directions but I saw the distinctive headlight/parking light/foglight pattern. I flicked by foglights off and on and got the same response. It was too dark to see any faces or any other details of the car.

I've been down in Marco Island Florida for a few days & saw multiple MINIs. Even a BRG/W in the Everglades. Also saw CR/Checkered top with the name Chilly Molly on the side in Naples downtown area. They all must have wondered why the crazy lady in the white convertible Sebring was waving madly at them.

This morning as I was driving into the parking structure at work (at SLU), a CR/W MCS pulled up behind me at the card reader. The car followed me up to my favorite parking spot and parked next to me. We introduced ourselves to each other and chatted a bit. He is not a member of STLMINI, so I will twist his arm to join. I suggested we always park next to each other so our MINIs can keep each other company as they wait for us to take them motoring again! :smile:

 

MINI alert in South County!!!!! I actually saw what appeared to be an all black MINI on Tesson Ferry by Sperring Middle School. I honked & they waved back. Maybe Louie finally has a neighbor.

Wow, more and more sightings everyday!
Yesterday on the way home along 44 west I passed a BRG/W MINI in medium traffic. It was too dark to wave so I gave a quick honk right went I was beside the other MINI. There was a delay then he/she honked back! (I guess after he/she realized it was a greeting rather than road rage as I pulled forward into view!)

Then this morning as I was pulling on to Big Bend out of our neighborhood a light green Cooper was waiting to get on to Big Bend from the other side of the road. Little Blue has a neighbor!

 

Im new!!! Just got my MCS, brg/brg on monday. If you see me in the Creve Couer area, honk and wave like a maniac and i'll wave back. I live off of ***** just down from Olive, anyone near me?

I'm down in South County but do get to your area frequently. I'll wave if I see ya. BTW, Louie is CR/B with black bonnet stripes. I saw the all Black on Butler Hill Road probably the same one I saw the other night. If so, Louie wants to know who you are so he can meet his neighbor.

Two sightings today and one on Sunday!

Sunday's was a BRG on Big Bend by Meremec College heading west at around 3:45pm. I have to confess that I didn't actually see it but my wife did and she and the other driver exchanged waves.

Today I saw a light green/white w/sunroof on Forest Park Parkway at about 3:30pm. I was on the 13th floor of a building though so my waves went unnoticed. And then at about 4:30 I saw a silver and black MC pulling into the parking lot of Now Hear This in downtown kirkwood as I was pulling out. I waved and gave a thumbs up and got at a wave in return.

I knew it was a matter of time, but today I saw it.... a MINI ricer!!!

What a shame to ruin a beautiful car with poorly designed/initiated mods!!!

Bowser and I ducked in shame and zipped away.

I MINI honked at me wildly yesterday as I was heading N on Vandeventer (near Laclede). It was getting dark and I had a car full of chattering students, so I didn't notice the MINI till it was way back behind me. Sorry to whoever that was!

 

Saw one today! I was actually at work. I saw it from a distance. It was about, 12:15pm or so, i was at the Dierbergs Heritage off of Olive road and a Light silver/Black MCS came rolling through. They didnt come into the parking lot, they just swerved by. I would have talked to them if they had come into actual parking area.

I caught a glimpse of a CR/W with bonnet stripes as I was turning onto Couch from west bound Big Bend by Meremec college this afternoon. It was about 3:30pm and with traffic and me trying to make the turn I didn't get a good look so I don't know if it was a Cooper or an S. I didn't have time to wave either. So if you are out there, sorry!

Be on the lookout for a BRG/W/W/Wstripes/cordoba-panther MCS near Big Bend and Sulfur Springs, with a daily I44 commute downtown. He arrived at the dealer Saturday (I had some 'visitation time'), but it will be Friday before I can pick him up. That Sirius radio sounded like a good idea at the time... too bad the install is so time consuming.

I too have seen the BRG/W MC on the I44 commute. It has been near torture to see MINIs during the interminable 6 week wait (7 by pickup).

I look fwd to joining STL MINI club, attending the rallies, and hitting the Wick's Academy in the Spring!

Saw a light silver/white with Illinois plates on Lemay Ferry yesterday. A young girl was driving & she smiled pretty when I waved & honked.

I must be the only one spotting MINIs. Saw 2 today on Cyrano's parking lot in Webster. A PW/B MCS & Light silver/B. The PW/B was a beauty-Louie gave her? a big wink

On Friday the 21st I saw a LY/W MCS on Southwest at Kingshighway. It was coming up behind me and the Bumble and I was going to wave as it appeared to be going around me. I was in the left lane of the two lanes that go straight across Kingshighway and the other MCS pulled into the left turn lane and went around me and the car in front of me, swerved back into the lane I was in and sped on his way through the intersection. Pretty stupid move in my opinion, especially with all the other traffic. I'm glad I didn't get a chance to wave. :???:

A lot of MINI sightings the past few days---I can't remeber all of them!
Let's see, an IB/W MCS with bonnet stripes at the Schnuck's on Hampton south of the Hill. We waved at each other.
I was behind a BRG MC on Big Bend at Lindell; she waved and I waved back.
A LY MCS (I think) at West County Mall. We drove past each other. I honked and she waved back.
A BRG/W MC on Clayton Rd east of Ballas. I honked and she waved back.
My wife says I'm getting quicker with the horn!
