My first car was a 2000 V6 Camaro (every option but the Z28 package), bought it from my brother in February 2004. I'm still daily driving it today. I still get compliments on the car when I drive it around even though it is 12 years old, it doesn't look it old and people don't believe you when you tell them how old it is. I take pride in taking care of my car. In the almost 8 years of ownership, not a single problem with it. My brother also had no problems with the car. Absolutely amazing vehicle. I loved it so much that I bought a 2000 Camaro SS almost three years ago with 34k miles on it. Same color, but no t-tops or ground effects. Best purchase I've ever made. I will be keeping the SS after I get the Mini. Still debating whether I should sell the v6 or not.

This will probably be my only Mini. I will be going back to GM or building an old GM truck for my next vehicle.

GM had a $650 stage kit that took the 2.0l LNF from 260hp and 260tq to 290hp and 340tq on the manual Solstice GXP and Sky Redline. 290hp and 320tq for the auto. The kit also maintained your warranty and was available for the Cobalt SS and HHR SS and included a "No Lift Shift" feature.

Mini could learn a thing or two from GM on how to do a stage kit.

I had a '06 MCS and loved it. Sold it for the wrong reasons. Then I bought VW GTI mkV. Just sold that with 65,000 in less than 3 years. Just bought a '11 MCS, so far I love it.

Lexus must have fixed something, because my IS300 seats were hell after 30 minutes.

A Ford F-250 with a V10 motor, used it mostly as a tow vehicle for my 5th wheel camper. Boy did that V10 like gas. Sold the camper and truck and haven't looked back, love the MINI...

Black 2006 Scion Tc, it was the first car I had ever purchased so I was a little sad when I was trading it in. That feeling went away quickly though after driving my MCS.

'99 Acura 3.2 TL

My dad bought it new, only kept it long enough to pass on to me (Apparently I told him that it was my car but I'm letting him drive it... I was about 9 y/o). He got himself a 535xi (leased, returned already, no replacement car for my dad yet). Recently the TL had a problem with the transmission (no surprise), and my dad said he'd rather lease a new car than fix the TL and keep it. I was heartbroken... until he started me on the car search and I found the MCS. Got it Wednesday the week before last. She's getting stripes on today. She's already had 750 miles, and I didn't even know how to drive manual when we got her, lol.

Jeep Wrangler 4x4. I miss it. I really needed to keep it AND add the MCS, but I couldn't afford to ... they are just such different vehicles with different purposes. But the MCS is tons of fun .. just won't be taking it up too many dirt or gravel roads! LOL

Actually, thinking about it, before our R56s we had an R50 and an R53. The Civic was before that.

Just bought my '07 MC to be my daily driver. I have always admired the styling and once I drove one I was hooked. My previous daily driver is a '10 F250 Super Crew and my bike is a '95 Harley-Davidson Nostalgia. Today was bath day, and I snapped the pic after I had them all scrubbed!

For the last 10 years I drove a 1992 Honda Prelude Si, 5 speed. I loved that car but since test driving a 2011 Mini Cooper S, I've never been more excited about getting a new car. She is waiting to be loaded on to a ship for California.

Nice Cooper. That looks nearly identical to my wife's car that's coming across the Atlantic right now.

My current car is in my signature. My wife drove a Subaru Outback sedan. Hopefully we can get by in the Seattle area with good snow tires during the winter as a freak storm of 4" will paralyze the city. No joke.

swpars - I really love the Pepper White color. IMO it is a really classy paint color. I too am looking forward to seeing how she will go in the snow. Generally we get quite a bit of the white stuff around here. If it gets too bad I'll have to break out Black Betty the Cowboy Cadillac! Then every time I go to the pump you'll probably hear my crying clear in Seattle! I really love my Cooper's 38mpg compared to the Ford's 14mpg. Hard to beat the go in the snow capability though if the weather gets real bad.

02 Mitsubishi Galant. Now I love my 07 MCS, Im 6'2" and no one understands how I fit in there, but I have plenty of room. I think I will always stick with a Mini.

2003 BMW X5 (piece of ****) had so many issues. Previous owner tried to put a supercharger on it, took it off before selling, didn't change back any of the software... uhhh????? Too bad I found that out after buying it..

Got a good value for trading in and bought my MINI in december 2010.
