Traded my R53 ('05) for R56 ('13). Quite noticeable is the additional torque of the turbo engine vs. the supercharged one. Gas mileage up about 10% as well.

I've had my Cooper for almost 3 years now but before that I drove a '99 4x4 Chevy Tahoe, pretty much out of necessity. I was moving to Iowa at the time and had never driven in snow before so I went with something heavy and four wheel drive for my own safety. Since then moved back to California and ditched the gas guzzler for my MINI and couldn't be happier. What led me to my MINI was the love affair I had with my first car, a BMW E30 coupe ('88 325). I don't see myself ever NOT having a MINI now, even if its my secondary, occassional driver.
I had a Harley Heritage, which I unfortunately totaled. (My fault). So now I am waiting for my MINI to come in. (Wife said no more two wheel vehicles). Scheduled to depart the Artemis Leader tomorrow at Port Hueneme, and hope to pick up from the dealer early next week.
I still have it as a weekend car now.....2001 Mustang Cobra.....very heavily modified. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 600hp/tq now at the rear wheels.
