Nice,
I used to drive a 2008 sport w/TRD SC and tuned by APR... I miss my blue devil, but no regrets when I start up my MINI....

04 Wrangler LJ, 87 Dodge Raider, 91 K5 Blazer, 82 Jeep Cherokee wide track, 86 Civic Si, (2) 00 Civic Si, 98 Chevy S10 ext cab, 97 Civic hatch, 94 Toyota truck, 89 Civic Si B16a, 78 Civic hatch, 73 Chevelle....

All 2 doors or hatchbacks, no 4 doors for me. I was told I was selfish by my Mom because I have kids and it was hard for them to get in the back seats. I replied with "they can crawl back there and climb in themselves into the car seats and buckle in their fine"

Came to my new 2013 MCS from a 2005 Prius: twice the mileage but half the fun
Before that:
2003 MCS
1998 Subaru Outback
1973 MGB-GT
1982 VW Passat
1975 (I think) Citroen GS - now that was an awesome piece of junk! Way ahead of it's time:
hydropneumatic suspension (this was the GS, not the DS, it was the smallest or most basic of the hydro-p cars), adjustable ride height, high pressure brake system (brake pedal travel <1cm), inboard brake discs up front for reduced unsprung mass, front wheel drive, symmetrical drive shafts w/o torque steer (I miss you, R53!!!), flat four aircooled boxer engine, and w/o front radiator it was possible to crank-start the engine with a crank inserted through the front grille, model-T style! Dash mounted 'revolver style' manual shift lever. But it rusted like h3LL and before I got rid of it I could see the asphalt between my feet. Loved that car though!
1968 VW Bug - loads of fun, my first car.

Sold my '03 330i 3 months ago because I just got tired of working on it. I've been driving our '96 Chevy Express conversion van (I call it the family truckster or vacationmobile) around town until I bought my '09 S on new year's eve. Guess I went the extreme opposite on size - I think I could almost park the mini in the back of the van

'06 SAAB 9-3 Aero to '09 MINI Cooper S Hardtop (R56) -- apparently I like four-letter capitalized car companies.

Went from 6cyl Twin-scroll Turbo to 4cyl Twin-scroll Turbo. Better power-to-weigh ratio and 50% better mileage!

09 WRX and an 06 Toyota Tacoma. WRX was a nightmare but an awesome car (center diff gone at 16k miles), truck was awesome but gas was killer. The 11 MCS is doing alright but already doing minor repairs...

I drove a 1997 Dodge Avenger (Such a fun car until the transmission went =/)
Then I drove a 2008 Hyundai Sonata, it was my dad's car; I had it for 4 months and was fed up with it. Gave it back to my dad and got myself a MINI :D

I had an '04 Ford Expedition. It was great, I just didn't need that big SUV so I downsized.

My 1st car was an 89 Toyota Celica. I traded it for a used 95 Toyota 4-runner in 97. I then had a 99 Ford Mustang which I traded a few years later for an 02 Pontiac Bonneville, which was traded for a new 05 Cadillac CTS-V. I still have the CTS-V; I don't think I'll ever part with it even though she's had her share of costly issues with only 50,000 miles. I love driving the Caddy (it's a 4-door Corvette afterall) but, at the end of the day, it's still a 4-door sedan (with 400hp). As I've always wanted a 2-seater convertible, the Mini caught my eye. My husband really wants a Porsche 911 but his knees won't allow him to crouch so low to get in/out. So, the MINI Roadster won out...this time.

I'm still in the GTI, the Buick is in the garage, and she's driving the Mini to work.

My last vehicle was a 2012 Jeep Wrangler. I kept that for a year and a half and one day I thought I'd take a look at the MINI dealership as I've always been intrigued by those vehicles. I didn't plan on buying anything since the Jeep was still new. I just felt like taking a look. Then I felt like taking a drive.

I decided that day I was going to get a MINI. The English gentleman at the dealership said I looked like a Jeep guy and wondered why I wanted a MINI. Great sales tactic! Anyway, I left that same day with my MINI and have loved it ever since. No regrets here!

I traded in a '13 Scion FR-S 6 speed manual on my automatic hard top. I find myself at a point in life where I don't need a clutch pedal any more.

Had a 1999 3.2 TL I loved, but the transmission failed me 3 times, so I jumped ship....

...To a 2012 Optima SX. It was a nice car that just couldn't win me over. They limited its power excessively in lower gears, the suspension was harsh yet it didn't handle well, and the MPG was no where near what was advertised.

After 6 months I got rid of it and got my '11 MCS.

Better known (at least in Japan) as the Kawasaki Mach III. In my opinion, the original "Crotch Rocket".
