but wow... whatr a fun car!!! the mini is..
I got one pretty loaded up.. S, sport, Harmon Kardon, sunroof, etc etc.I got lucky .. I got one off the lot that had 99 percent of what I want..
the white silver with the black roof is AWSOME.. with the blacked out headlamps.. and the MINI S logo down the bottom ,, pretty cool look.. and a "modern" look i think with that silver/white /grey color very cool...
so .. here I am...
all highway i can hit 36mpg with cruise set at 77. seems to be the best speed for me. although the diameter of my wheels is smaller so i'm really going 72mph. either way. 36mpg is fantastic.

2006 Acura RSX-S in STF class.

Stolen. I kind of miss it but low end torque relieves the pain.

A 1989 Mustang Gt 5.0. Loved it except it couldn't turn corners. Mini will be my every day driver/ track car and the Mustang will become the drag strip king!

I had a bunch, but my last one was a pristine 2001 BMW Z3 Coupe . Life is too short and was time to move on to a new Experience . I think I like this 2012 Cooper S better than my 2004 GTi VR6 . It just has too much quirky **** like the "Flavo- Flav" center speedometer and goofy toggles.

I still drive them, but it's getting hard to get out of the Vette and more costly to feed them. One of the ways I justified this. . .

And I almost forgot my S-10 Trash Hauler. And my '93FXLR.
Some would say, that's too many for a single retired guy, but I think need them all.

07 jeep compass.
Loved it for about the first year, Then i started hating its 16mpg city,19MPG highway (going downhill with the windbehind it) AND the CVT was *****! Even had the same size engine as a PT cruiser, FFS! then little things kept breaking, all warrenty covered, but then 9 miles before 60k warranty would be up: rack and pinion somehow went bad?? then a few days later a CV boot was puking, (they covered it free due to them tweaking it with rack and pin install). Next day i bought new wiper blades for it, Drove past a MINI at a mom and pop dealer in town, and got inspired. walked in the next day and traded the jeep for $10,000 toward the MINI. Took almost a 4k Hit from the jeep leftover loan, but it was worth it. I havent looked back

My Ex is a 2002 SAAB 9-3 Viggen. It was fast, quirky and fun, which was the basic shopping list for the next car. Now it's a 2008 MINI hardtop that's been an absolute blast so far!

Previously, a 2012 MINI Countryman S
Loved the four-doors, space, longer wheelbase, but always missed the fun of my 2009 R56 S...not to mention the speed.
So, sold the Countryman and ordered a 2013 JCW, the last of the R56s. Happy now.

I daily drove my 1985 4runner on 35" tires for a few years, still drive it 200+ miles on the freeway to go wheeling.

And for the past 2.5 years I have been driving a 2007 F150. I havent been using it as a truck as much as I thought I would though, and I got tired of parking a full size truck every where I go. So I downsized a bit?

Its been quite the change for me, and no regrets here.

I drove a 4 door jeep rubicon, then I got debowed by my wife. While I was deployed to Afghanistan she never drove her car. I figured this out because I needed an oil change and 3000 miles had been put on it. I got in her car and it had 28 miles since its last oil change that I did before I deployed. So I told her I was trading her car in for something I wanted and she told me that the jeep was hers now anyway so do what I want. Win Win, maybe.

I came to my MCS from a Toyota Prius (beat THAT for a wheeeeeeeee! upgrade)... but I only have great things to say about it... great commuter for all the miles I drove, and I walked away from rear end collisions from both an 18 wheeler and an 85mph speeder on the interstate... and FYI, I'm not planning on getting hit again, as the Mini seems to have accident avoidance velocity...

I went from a Chevy Blazer to a Tahoe - so I've been in SUVs for the better part of 20 years. Going to my R56 is culture shock in a wonderful way. The only problem I'm having is trying to find the most out of the way parking spaces in shopping centers!

I didn't get rid of 02 dodge ram 1500 quad cab, I just added my 07 as a fun daily driver. Let me tell you, it does take me a few minutes to get my bearings when I switch between them!
