I got a call today, MA says that my car is on a truck on the way to the dealer TONIGHT!!!!!! WHOLE POTATOES!!!!!

Tomorrow is a MINI meet here and I'm going without my car....dealer options still to be added! But I will be able to touch her....omg omg omg...where's my damned tux? It should be ready by Tuesday sometime!?

Sorry, had to appease the Wife unit. She wanted to go out for dinner and a movie. Fait enough as we had not been out and it gave me a chance to motor about in Romi.

Unfortunately, we went and saw Spiderman 3, without knowing it was a 3 hour movie!! So we got home much later than I had thought. I am working on it now.

Uhmmm,..not following you. The background in the center is the Union Jack flag. The car in the pic s Romi. She has a black roof.

Could you elaborate a bit more?

Here is the regular tag. I made some slight changes to the colors of the chevron wings and changed the gap to silver between the red ring and the raised edge containing the picture.

Better or worse?

 

I would like to see more black in the badge. You can't really see Romi's roof in the badge, so there's very little black. Maybe in some of the trim? Maybe Black outlines? I'm not sure where to put the black, but I think it needs a splash of black in there somewhere?

 

BUBBLES! That's his name...he's arrived, but he's still wrapped in plastic and is very dirty! See my gallery for first pics...it looks like it was a very terrible messy delivery...but we'll clean him up this week with better pics!

 

Very nice!!! If Bubbles looks this good dirty, better bring shades for when he's sparkly clean!!! Yowza!!!

 

I'm not a big talker here, but my MINI (Chessie, to be delivered in Dallas on May 30) has white top and bonnet stripes....but I think the tag is great. I like the silver on the gap. Really nice of you to design the tag...

I am sort of curious about the tag comments so far. I went out of my way to try and be neutral towards what I call accessory colors, such as the roof color.

Are you missing the outlines, like it would have been drawn and colored in? The tag is an actual 3D component I rendred in POVRay. That is why ther are no lines. Just shadows and such. The small format loses some detail.

I'll see what I can do in Photoshop to enhance it.

I really do appreciate feedback. I am pastel color-blind, so I have come to depend on others to help me with color and what not.

 

BTW, Skuzzy, I believe the NFR R56 Cooper on the Moritz lot sold on the first day it was out on display!!!!! The NFR cabrio is still there fortunately or Moritz would be w/o a single NFR example......again!!!

I figured out how to add my own picture but this one seems to be giving me some trouble...how do I add it to my signature?

 

Like I did. I added it to my pic of Romi and her vitals. I used Photoshop for that. If you do not have Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, I can put it together for you. I would just do it, but I am running out of upload space on NAM.
