Firstly, I was a medic for 25 years, I suppose I could arrange my old workmates to standby for me?
Secondly, Willow Offgood was the name of the little person in the movie, "Willow".....thought it was an awesome name too!?
You can never be to careful! Jeez, haven't thought of that movie in years! You've got excellent ideas for now, you'll know what's right when you meet
Ok,..that's borderline groveling. You can get away with that once in a while, but do not make a habit of it or folks will get annoyed. Trust me. Been whining for a long time.
Skuzzy, what was/were the main reason(s) you went with the Cooper vs. the S? I'm not implying anything either and definitely do NOT want to start another Cooper vs. S war. I just am curious about why YOU (not anyone else) went with the MC.

Easy.
I plan on keeping this car 10 years. I got to thinking about the potential maintenace costs of the S versus the Cooper and the Cooper won. The power in the Cooper is plenty for me, at this juncture of my life, so I had no real compulsion to go with the extra cost of the S.

Sure, knock yourself out. Figuratively speaking, of course. Unless you are really into that type of thing, which would be waaayyy TMI.

Well, LynnEl doesn't have to listen, but we haven't discussed this much before .
We haven't had a civilized discussion here in a while anyway (perish the thought! )
For me, an MC was simple. Value + sufficient fun + styling.
NFR was a huge bonus.
One big consideration for us Canadian brothers/sisters....Coop S may have too much power for a small car for our icy/snowy roads. I plan on driving mine all year long (including in 4 feet of snow!), so thought S was too much for that? Plus....the NFR thing...which makes us a little exclusive.
One touch I added that many people don't add to the MC is the chrome retro gas cap. That's on the S, but I'm adding one on my MC...a nice little touch!
I took a good look at them, and they are very difficult to get off unless you use a crowbar. I'm a little more worried about the driving lights being knocked off here. But C'est la Vie!
There was a rash of chrome lugnuts stolen here recently. The thiefs would just take the lugnuts off the cars and leave them. No jacks used. There were many a surprised driver who hopped into their car and took off only to have the wheels fly off shortly thereafter.
I think they are just intellectual racoons or people with the IQ of a racoon.
Hey, I already get to crawl into her, fondle her shifter, caress her steering wheel, manipulate her gas, clutch, and brake pedals, twist her *****, push her buttons...
Yeah, she was parked next to a LB/W MCS and the LB/W was like "*****! You can't touch my stuff!" and Romi was like, "Yeah, you might be able to get down the road faster,...but you ain't coming close to doing it with the style I can!"
Dang near a cat fight! I had a talk with Romi and they all made up.
