I shall release no whine before its time. You'll have to wait like the rest.

Skuz, our favorite MA said a NFR was coming to Moritz tomorrow and will be picked up next week. Is it yours?? I was planning on stopping by sometime and paying homage to the newborn color of the Coopers.

I think Ernestine is toying with me. She emailed me and asked me to confirm the dealer options list yesterday.

There is no way my car could have hit the VDC on 5/9 and be at the dealership on 5/11. It must be someone else's NFR. Unless Ernestine got notification to me late about when my car hit the VDC.

I think she is scared of how I am going to react when it gets here. Ya know,..heart attack and that sort of thing. She does not want to be responsible for killing me.

Good point...I suspect it is a situation they face often enough. Perhaps they are trained in a variety of resusitation techniques. Well, I will stop by and have a look at NFR and report in...I'm doubt it will help your condition, though, so I'll try to keep the glowing explicatives and comparisons to the divine countenance to a minimum.

BTW, I just reminded myself to check and see if they have done any clear bra installs on R56s yet. I wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't.

My NFR has a black roof and mirror caps. No bonnet stripes. Interior is Gotham Gray. Front and rear fog lights. 16" Bridge spokes. Rear spoiler. No sun/moon roof. 6 speed manual.

I think I need to take a drive over to Moritz tomorrow. I have not been there since I placed my order. I am concerned I would see an NFR on the lot, take it for a test drive, and in a euphroic stupor,...NEVER RETURN.

My dealer has a bunch of mannikens standing around the showroom. Waaaaiiitt... maybe those aren't really mannikens??? It does smell kind of like polyuerothane in there.

Actually, micro-fiber likes to hold on to moisture. Cotton is better to allow evaporation. I did not go into this lightly.

Congrats Skuzzy! Only 4 more days of whining? What are we going to do without it!

I'm picking mine up tomorrow.... yikes! I'm almost scared. But so happy it's finally happening. 65 days later!

The NFR

I posted some photos over here...https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...t=95617&page=9

But here's one more for the NFR group. My MA said that there have only been 18 NFR brought into North America so far - so they are a rare breed indeed.

The car is really, really, really great.

Those would be the most vicious of rumors if they are unfounded! We wait with baited breath! I'm sure you'll be crunching quite a few carrot sticks til then! Congrats on the cessation front, Romi will definitely appreciate it!

I thought you would start smoking (the tires). Better get some more rags.

Actually, I stopped smoking at the end of January this year, but I never smoked in a car anyway.

I was making with the joke,..ala Airplane. I suppose I am too subtle at times.

Today is going to be a very long day.

Beautiful car kimmc...Mine's still 13 days away...sigh....What else could I chew on other than finger nails?

Apparently, 7 cars came to Canada...does that mean the other 11 went to US? Doesn't seem right to me...and of those 7 in Canada, mine was the only one registered as SOLD...the other 6 were going to dealers! How does that work?

Hey, that's less than 2 weeks. That's barely a million seconds. You can do it!

I think they're trying to get the new colors on the lot, so people can see them. A cabrio is on its way to my dealer now, look forward to seeing that! (Sorry Muse, haven't seen it yet!)

A dog chew toy. My teeth have never been cleaner and my gums are healthier! Now,..if I could only do something about this damp nose.....

Muse, where are you? She has been quiet lately. Only time I think I could be so quiet is if I HAD MY CAR!!! ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!! If she has her car and has not shown us pics,..I am gonna have to yell a lot. Yes, it will be muffled due to the dog chew toy, but the message should come through loud and clear.
