LOL! No, I ain't home. I cannot complain about the bosses. After my business failed, I could not get work. I was out of a job for 9 months. It was rough. They hired me and just for that I owe them big time.

It is very difficult to get a job when you get past 50. Very difficult.

Anywho...I am just sitting here counting the seconds.

 

I apparently share that one with you, too skuzzy. I worked for my first wife. When she died it took me almost 2 years to find work. However, I still have no problem stating my boss (ultimate and intermediate) are morons (aside from the fact that they hired me --- figured I'd save yu the trouble.).

Personally, I think it will take NFR owners days...maybe even months...to discover all the cool nuances and shades of this deep color. Glad Skuzzy will have some daylight at the end of the day to enjoy motoring. Indi Blue was fantastic at dusk...I'm sure Nightfire Red is, too.

Oh yes, we will be motoring about. I also took the last week of the month off for vacation and plan a heavy duty motoring trip around Texas. Just me and Romi.

My Wife wants me to get her out of my system. She has no idea it ain't gonna happen. LOL! Actually, she probably has accepted the fact she is going to have to share me.

 

The real question is will Romi accept that she has to share you with wifey!

 

It will be a balancing act. I may have to sleep with Romi a couple of nights to give her a chance to feel secure in her new surroundings.

If she starts to chase me down when I am getting in the other car with the Wife, then I will do what I have to do to make her feel secure. Let your mind wander around that one for a bit.

all i got to day from my MA was verrrrrry soon...I imagine next week or else its gonna be a pain with driving my moms car around for the next week...her car is a gas guzzler compared to my hyundai...but i just can't drive that car anymore...i am skuuuured t dent it someo place else before the sale is final...:impatient

 

I know what ya mean muse. I have been on pins and needles driving the Volvo around. All I have to do is get it to the new owner this afternoon.

The weather is beautiful here today. Sunshine, cool breeze,...very un-Texas like. Dang nice weather for a bit of motoring about though. WOOOOHOOOO!!!

 

Not only do I have to drive a bashed up Sunfire around, but this afternoon, I have to drive my 1802 Mazda truck with the mis-firing transmission 30 miles to my dad's house to put into storage. It's presently taking up Winnie's parking space and I need to get rid of it. It'll be like Little Miss Sunshine...I'll be push-starting it up every hill, the horn will stick and all my **** magazines will fall out in front of the police officer!

I've been involved in some ranting conversations about Boston in other threads. I'm new to town, and the only thing I really can't handle in this city is people don't pick up after their dogs! It's night and day compared to Chicago, so weird. So the sign is needed where I'm walkin to the car every morning!

Dennis-glad you didn't hyperventilate too much when you saw Romi. We love your enthusiasm, are just worried for your health! I hope you'll have medics standing by for your pick up. What was the Willow reference for the other potential name?

 

Firstly, I was a medic for 25 years, I suppose I could arrange my old workmates to standby for me?

Secondly, Willow Offgood was the name of the little person in the movie, "Willow".....thought it was an awesome name too!?
