R56 The Official Nightfire Red Owners Club
We bought plane tix before we ordered the MINI. And Boston to Mexico is a long drive! I will admit we are considering bringing Mia to the in-laws in Connecticut for the week.
I know I've seemed abusive to her thus far, but I don't want her to be too lonely.

Hahahah...intervention...100% of the people that surround my life would agree whole-heartedly with you Skuzzy...the only thing is, you'll all come to intervene, and I'll tell you all that I don't have a problem and that I don't need any help (as he rolls up his sleeve and injects 2 cc's of MINI into his veins).......ahhhhh...that's much better!
Us "old hat" brown MINI owners aren't quite as retentive when it comes to the paint of our cars.
Autocross cone scuff marks:
mmmm... winter:

the painter's tape numbers on the side of the car don't show up too well in this picture, but I bet they're a no-no too:

In reality, my car looks pretty good for a 112,000 mile year round daily driver. Of course, a bunch of the body panels have only been around for part of that trip.
I'm on hood number 3 right now.

don't let kenchan see this post!
The poor guy will go in vapor lock.
The scuff marks from the cones look much worse than they are. The cones transfer a film onto the paint that comes off with soapy water. There's just a little scratching left from any dirt that was on the cone / car when they rubbed against each other.
After a little cleaning, those marks are almost entirely gone.

Come on folks...let's go screeching through life sideways with the tires popping off and slamming into the curb.....

Continue the freak out y'all.
Did you all know that you can get little ventolin inhalers for temporary episodes of bronchiolar spasms? Didn't know that until I enter the "WAITING ZONE" for MINI owners!

Pics of my NFR MINI
Well...I wasn't able to take her on vacation since she arrived after I left...but I had her with me in spirit with the MINI icon on my Garmin NUVI!
Here are some pics of her:

Hmmm...I can't seem to get the best picture of her to load. :-(
