on another note the other day we pull into farmers market and the wierdest coincidence...
there was a chili red mini convertible exactly like mine from the SAME DEALER and with a day before on teh paper tag!! so this person bought the car a day before me ...the two cars were side by side and they loooked like twins...unfortunately i tried to stalk the driver but i never saw the person while i was admiring both cars next to each other...

I WIIIIIIIIISH i would have had a camera....it was one of those classic moments forver captured in my mind. the chili and the nightfire brandnew inext to each other...i only imagine the owner must have checked out my car when they saw it next to theirs!

Well I must say...of all the color clubs on NAM, the NFR bunch has to get the award for the most neurotic. Most excellent!!!!

 

Calling them "neurotic" is like saying MINIs are sort of fun. They are wwwwaaayyyyyy beyond neurotic. I think maybe MINI put a little something extra in the NFR paint fumes.

Well since Nightfire Red clearly was a gift from the gods, I'm sure it must put a strain on the faculties of mere mortals who choose to motor while basking in its wondrous aura. Containing that other-worldly level of pure euphoria must comes at a cost, I suppose....clearly it's worth it. Sanity is highly over-rated anyway.

 

The really cool thing about being insane is you get to laugh at things no one else can see!

Thanks folks...and you're right about the color changing all the time. I still don't have my options put on yet, but it will come soon! Like I see in all these threads, just getting your car is only half the battle...then it's the effort in making it YOURS once you get it!
