R56 2011 Ordering
I ordered mine. Got a ClubmanS slot they were supposed to use for a showroom car, but I doubt that makes a difference. They're making money for sure, not just bringing in a car that will "probably sell". You could probably get a bit more for a car on the lot, but the Costco pricing will work on an ordered car too (and, again, I doubt you can just negotiate $1000 off. The max I could get was 2%, then I convinced them into covering the $750 for the CW package. $1000 and freebies is pretty good)
I just got $1000 off yesterday, Chicagoland. But the thing is I got a poor number for my trade-in (which was valued $2500 more earlier), I do not know if I can get better trade-in value for my car elsewhere, have to think about it. But $1000 off MSRP is negotiable, if you are willing to put some effort into it. I do not know about the freebies then. Costco deal is pretty good.
Im going to say the online builder will be up on weds. That is the 1st, the new pricing goes into effect then. Also the 2010 promotions end tomorrow, the 31st.
Does anyone know if Costco has the auto program with Towne MINI, in buffalo NY? Or a dealer close to that? Im not a member, but if spending 25 for membership saves me over 1000, then it works for me lol.

MINI USA has just announced a special voucher for those of you who registered for MTTS and would like to purchase a MINI (whether you already own a MINI or not). You guys are entitled to an extra $1500 off any in stock MINI COOPER (in addition to the current incentives and low rate finance/lease) and to put the cherry on top…..(drum roll)…..they will even waive the first payment !!! Wow!! Call your Motoring Advisor for more details.
(im thinking that is for remaining 2010s?)
Here are the 2011 MINI Press Release released yesterday.

If you go to the Costco site (Google "Costco Auto Program") then you type in your zip code, plug in MINI, and you can see. You do need a membership number to do this.
Also, if you have an executive membership, you get an email about filling out a Costco survey on your experience and get a $50 credit to use at the dealer for whatever (parts, goodies, etc)

*AHEM*
MINIUSA.com is down. So is the freaking Owner's Lounge (labor is supposed to begin somewhere between today and Wednesday for me!! gggaaahhhh)
Many sites go down like this only because of one reason...maybe we'll see the configuration later or tomorrow?

It is working for me, still the old configurator there.
Hey guys/gals, if you are in the Chicagoland Area, give Patrick Mini a try in Schaumburg, they will deal. Orm gave some idea earlier in this thread, and he was and is right. With my JCW seeking, they are going to save me a bundle, or at least to me it's a bundle, and also able to add the Convenience Package which I didn't think that I could afford. We all have our limits.
Anyway, give them a try. They're a lot different to deal with than my original dealer in Omaha who only believe in MSRP.

Makes sense that September 1st for the new configuring on Miniusa, but on the other hand, it might be next monday as that is the first business week of this month. Really strange, as last year the 2010 configuration came on line on August 15th, if I remember correctly. But, then again, there was very few changes last year other than the price, up of course and the added MultiFunction steering wheel for cruise and music control. September 1st does make sense.
Right, the 2010 configuration is still on miniusa as of 7:58 CDT. Funny, looking at the different dealers around the country, not all of them are loaded with inventory, so I would think that miniusa is doing a disservice to their own dealers. If all the dealers, or a majority of them were over stocked, then I could understand this, but most aren't. Another case where miniusa is a sleep at the wheel.
EOP was suppose to be July 11, 2010. But, I feel that that date might have been flexible. SOP of the 2011's was August 10, 2010 according to my sources. As I said, both of these dates might have been flexible, but I am sure that a 2010 can't be ordered now, including the Mayfair package. That's why i think that it's rediculous that miniusa hasn't posted the new 2011 configuratiion.
But, in saying all that, there might be the possiblity that the Mayfair and the Camden might be carried over to the 2011 model year. But, the options that were part of those packages are available separately as options this year like the special wheels, and some of the interior color options.

Only disappointment so far is that the latest owner's lounge manual is for a 2009!
