About the configurator: Did you notice that with the convertible alarm is included in the convenience package? I ordered a hatchback with the convenience package and I had to pay $500 for the alarm, that sucks. Convertibles are also getting chrome line exterior and mirror caps free with the convenience package (which I don't care about but still...)

Chakram 105: Yeah, I meant the premium package. But if you think about it the convertible kind of has a sunroof of its own.

It has alot of mistakes, says that standard leatherette is not available with laser blue, and then xenon are not available with the sport package…funny since that package includes them haha.

You mean Premium package, and the packages for 2009, 2010 convertibles had the chrome and alarm included..since the hatchback has the sunroof in that package.

Interesting, here is another, albeit minor, defect: Read the description for convenience package, "NOTES: Package price will be discounted $500 if purchased with Value Package." Er, there is no more value package for the Cooper S...but now I am just picking nits. Maybe in a few weeks this will all get worked out...

On the MC, WS is not available with the Premium Package, and on the MCS it's not available with the Premium Package or the Convenience Package. I assume this is an error that will get fixed.

Eclipse Gray appears to be an option only on the MCS. My wife wanted a 2010 Gray MC, and I talked her into waiting for the 2011 models. Oh well..

It seems like a llllooooottttt of issues are going on with the site right now. So, major glaring errors (like the washers, the packages, etc) are probably glitches.
The EG problem is definitely an unknown though. It seems silly they'd get rid of DS and then limit the models its replacement is available on. I liked the DS color, hopefully EG isn't too much of a color change and they just wanted to refresh the name

Right. Lots of oddities.

There must be tons of people building new cars right now. I went to the "Gallery" and saw lots of cars with 2011 in their name.

The colors aren't right either. The configurator says you can't get a Clubman S in EG, but Morristown Mini has one in stock.

Has anyone else found discrepancies in the prices that we were quoted versus what miniusa configuration has shown? Ok, here is one: Rain sensor wipers and auto headlights I've been shown $250. Mini shows $500 On the JCW door rings and color line N/C Mini shows $250. Now if I have to, I'd pay the $250 for the color line but I'm cutting the rain sensors and auto headlights for $500. That's rediculous doubling the price from last year.

At one point I had the Sport package at $750. Not sure how I did that, but I was mucking around with different wheel choices at the time. It's back to $1250 now, so I am sure it was just a "glitch".

Another note: MPGs look about the same, but the CabrioS and ClubmanS outrank their non-S twins. Coupe still outranks CoupeS

Cooper S Highway at 36 manual, 34 automatic, now that rocks. More HP and fuel economy to boot. Show me another car that weighs less than 3000lbs., gets 34 highway, and at least 180HP. Nope, MINI is in a class by itself!
Now I need to go sell some blood or something to raise the down payment...

36/30/27 is what they're saying for ClubbyS hwy/city/combo. Shouldn't the lowest number be the city, the middle be the combo? Still a 2 MPG upgrade, which hey, overtime can really add up

Yeah, I am guessing that 27 is a typo. Last years combined number was 29 for all the man tran S models. Maybe MINI needs to turn some quality assurance guys loose on the site...messy!

If you assume a 60/40 highway to city mix, the number would be more like 33 or 34 combined...that is assuming 36/30 are the appropriate highway/city numbers.

Even if 36/27 is right, it's 32.4 with 60/40 combo. Silly MINI

Where can I find the destination charge on the configurator?

Nevermind, I found it. Base MSRP includes $700 destination charge.

UAL, I've read your week support thread and the massive amount of tracking you did. And now you're lurking on the 2011 order thread. Are you prepping for another round of fun?

Yup! I will be ordering a 2011 Clubman S in February. I really like my friend, Lynn, Clubman S. I am ready to go through another 5 or 6 weeks of craziness again.

I ordered meself a ClubbyS too, sooo excited. Sometimes when I see a pic of them I kinda go "wow, maybe they're dorky", but in real life? Soo nice looking. The extra length makes it look less of clown car anyways What color you thinking?

Also, if you would like to "adopt" another MINI to track it, you can help me come 9/14
