I think that you have to give it a little time. Afterall, it is only 01:55 in the morning. I'm thinking at about 10:00 or so that they should have it up. I've just been told by too many people with Mini at the dealerships that today is the day. But, mine's ordered, but it still would be nice to see the configuration.

Somebody post if and when the Miniusa site decides to update the configuration, as I am at work and can't access the Miniusa site. Believe this, I can get on the Miniuk.com but not the Miniusa. Go figure.

Dodgy: Happy Birthday to your MINI! I know there's boats leaving early next week that I'm pretty sure mine will barely miss, but you should be able to catch one out. Maybe we'll pick ours up around the same time since I'm on the East Coast about an hour from the port (so none of this 2 days on a truck thing here...thaannkkkkfully!)

hemi: not surprised on the backup. Another poster that is part of a dealer got some 2011s in early, maybe they're trying to ensure everyone has some come the 18th, rather than creating a big backlog. Ima gonna be mad if my Clubby sits on a dock somewhere for a month!! I'm sure the main reason ordered 2011s have been sitting is they want to make sure they don't get here before the 18th and have a bunch of purchasers hassling their MAs

Configurator: Motoringfile is saying definitely today. My guess is somewhere around 9am/10am, or 6pm/7pm EST. Seems smart for open of business time, but prices were sent out to dealers around 6pm a few weeks back, so that's why I give that possibility.
It's coming though! Gee, almost worse than the wait for the car!

The Configurator is now live with 2011's!

Looks like the leatherette really is the same, just all black. Now, if you'll pardon me, I'm off to configure my car...

Dodgy: See, I told you that you were early. So, why are you configuring when it appears that you have already ordere one? Ok, ok, just like me. I'll configure mine when I get home at noon. Shucks, another 12 hour shift. That makes four in a row.

Well, no surprises, phew! Love the new standard interior. I love the black-checkered, will match well to the cloth seats and my checkered rear view mirror cap.

Only thing I'm worried about: headlight washers seem to be an add on ($0, but still a "check here" deal). My MA swore it came with the CW package. While it's not a deal-breaker, I hope she didn't go shifty on me and is wrong and they don't show up on the car

I saw the mini.uk pepper white and that white is more toward white. I'm really interested if this will be the color for USA mini.
I would bet dimes on donuts that 2011 is the same color. You may be seeing white silver which was previously only available on the Camden, but now is being made available across the line, IIRC. I am thinking strongly about the white silver with black roof.

One question, when you choose Striped Alloy Trim and look at the close-up of the interior on the US site, the handles aren't silver/alloy as in the UK configurator. I wonder why?

Everything that I have read, including the print out of my JCW shows the washers as being part of the Cold Weather Package. I could care less, one way or another as I realy don't like the looks of them, and from what I hear, they aren't that effective either. Remember the old Mercedes Benz in their headlight wipers? These have to be at least better than that.

It does seem like you have to select it to get it. But its free if ordered with CW package. I assume its a check here option due to not all people will get xenons?

Also you can configure a JCW with the Black headlights, yet its been reported that the JCW will not get them.

To answer another question about the striped alloy not being on the doors, I do think it will be, Brushed alloy did not show up on the doors in the configurator either. But my concern is that it looks like plastic in the picture, and does not say its real metal in the description.

Comfort bluetooth and MINI Connect/NAV are missing from the builder too.

I did place an order, however had a hard time choosing color (two of the three I was considering are new this year) and only found out at the end that Leatherette had a different description this year. So my interest was to see what my interior was going to look like! Looks like it'll be ALL black, which wasn't what I was going for, but hey, I'll make it work.

I'm sure there'll be a backlog, but I've got to believe there's lots of room on those big ships. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and checking manifests for my departure date.

Yeah I have no idea. Shifty junk is going on. When I do a build and create a PDF of options, here's some results:
1) Add sport package and CW, do not add washers: everything shows up normal, washers are nowhere on the sheet (not part of CW apparently, even with xenons)
2) Add sport package and CW, ADD washers: the sport package is suddenly missing the xenons. Xenons are down below in the Performance area. Washers show up as a STD option, but Xenons have a $500 price tag attached to them
3) No sport package, no CW, add xenons, add washers: $600 (500 xenons, 100 washers)

Something's up... I bet it didn't get added on. This is crap. Up CW package AND delete options. Screw you MINI

What I know is that on my order sheet that I received, the washers are stated as a N/C option, as part of the Cold Weather Package, and is listed on that order sheet. Hence, it should be part of the Cold Weather Package, I believe. Boy, that would be great if I could get the Xenons with adaptive system and NOT get the pop out washers.

But why wouldn't you want headlight washers? Just a thought.

Just me, mind you, but I think that they look sucky. And, beings as I have never had them before, I don't know how well that they work, either. The regular, none xenon washer less headlights just look so much cleaner to me. That's all

I see. However, as I understood the Xenon lights don't come with washers. I might be wrong. I don't like moving parts either, such as pop-up washers (what if they freeze and break or something). I just thought that was my only option if I want washers with my headlights (to get the retractable ones).

Last year the pop-up washers were standard on the Xenon headlights. Now it appears that they are part of the Cold Weather Package. Why? To justify the $250. increase, or the 50% increase in the cost of the Cold Weather Package? I, kind of wonder if you can actually get the Xenon headlights without the washers. Oh by the way, the water is heated for the headlight washers and windshield washers.

What is the deal with White Silver can't be ordered with the Convenience Package , what does paint have to do with options? I am hoping this is just a bug in the configurator as I am sort of leaning towards WS, but not without CP.

I don't have my order sheet in front of me so I can't look, but I will later. Also I think all xenons have the area for the washers, it's just whether or not they mechanism is there. I just figure if they raised the CW package price, without even adding anything to it, I might as well get all that comes with it

Slartibartfast: I can't think of anything that make either one not available here. It has to be a glitch somewhere. What has the color to do with the Convenience Pak? Nothing. What is surprising to me, is all the problems that there are here when several ***'s that I talked with said that Mini is so particular about their website and would not send it out to the public until it was perfect. Right......
