R56 2011 Ordering
JCW surprise
My Lil Guy, to me is very close, but I am going to change the outside door handles, hopefully and the rear hatch handle to carbon fibre units, which I have. I'm going to try and bribe the new, local Mini dealer and see if they will install them. I've heard that they are not easily installed. Broken glass issue, they say.
My first mini was 2010 MCS .. its the first time i drive mini .. n i have never regret it at all .. i really miss it when i get out of it .. so how its gonna be with the jcw .. there is no perfect car in the world .. every car has advanteges and disadvantegesm but we have to see the overall what is it .. as long i'm happy with the car i dont really care what other people think i mean i dont really take into consideration coze at the end different thoughts.
thats gr8 .. ohh okay so be careful .. im thinking of the jcw aero kit nut there is no any news about it till now .. n im thinking of the new JCW roof spoiler the white n white mounts .. i already ordered some accessories, JCW gear shift **** al cantara with shift gaiter al cantara .. JCW carbon fiber handbreak handel with the handbreak gaiter al cantara .. JCW carbon fiber cover center in the steering .. JCW floor mats .. JCW gear shift indicator .. I hope i can get info abuot the aero kit b4 i end the deal so i can add the amount of it to the final qout. for the financing.

666: Like I said too, no car is perfect, but to me, my Lil Guy is awfully close, and I'm about as picky as you find with cars.

Does anyone know if the JCW-body kit is available for the facelift? Rear fog lights seem different...
Was on the telephone with my dealer, he told me there was an adapter available, that would make the JCW Body Kit fit on a 2011 facelift...
I live in Belgium, so I don't know about USA...

What I saw, and it was on a British site, was the same JCW Aero kit that they came out with in mid year, last year. The only change was in the back up light being in the middle of the drivers side rear fog light. When they made the changes last year, put in the brake cooling ducts, and a couple of minor changes, that was their 2011 change. As for more changes being introduced this year, I really, doubt that much will be done. An off site building makes these for Mini, and Mini doesn't have much control over them. I've been told, that is one reason why the JCW Aero package hasn't been offered, factory installed, for the USA. This company can't, couldn't make enough of them, plus keep the quality up to standards.
Most of this is fact, and some is my opinion. I, along with many others, wish that a nice, individual Aero kit could have been offered for me with my JCW, but not to be. Still think that the lower door panel would look nice with the 2011 refreshed front and rear.

JCW Aero fog lights
That's right, on the JCW Aero they are still using the old style rear fog lights. There's no way that they could get the new rear fog lights into that narrow of an area, hence they are using the last years rear fog lights. And, if you look closely, the back up light is in the middle of the drivers side light.
I've seen one other JCW for 2011 that had the JCW Aero and it was at a dealership, and I can't remember where that was, but that car had the small back up lights in both of the rear fog lights. Oh well.
okay .. so from what i understood that there wont be a new aero kit n instead of making new one they offer an add on kit to replace the fog light to reverse light .. if that is the case i wont go for the aero kit .. i dont want to lose the facelift

Rear Fogs
NO, it has rear fogs, it's just that they are 2007 - 2010 style rear fog lights. And boy, on this car, about the only thing that I think that they missed was Black Lounge leather seats. Even without them, I'll bet the MSRP is close to $40K, ok maybe $38K and they missed on the JCW suspension.

Fog Lights

The rear Fog Lights are the red light, that surrounds the back up light. Weird, but it does work, they tell me. They do the same thing, only on one rear taillight, on the clubmans. Just like on my JCW and yours, the back up light is in the middle of the rear Fog Light. Same for the JCW Aero, except that the rear Fog Light is smaller in shape.
