MINI N18 engine, LOW miles

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $3200
Private or Vendor Listing: Vendor Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R56
Location (Region): NorCal
Item Condition: Used

I am selling a fully rebuilt engine from a 2011 Cooper S, NON JCW.
I had the head completely gone through and new valves, guides, seals and everything redone.
I will provide documentation of the rebuild to the buyer if desired.

Minor pieces are missing that I needed for the motor swap that I did. No engine harness provided.
No warranty since this is a private sale, I am not a business.

The engine had 20k miles on it when removed from the car.

This is a N18 (gen1) engine (2011-2013), not a N18 (gen2) (2014-current)

I just would like to sell this to someone that needs a good motor.

Asking $3200 obo
Thanks and email me at brracing@gmail.com if interested.

Wish that would fit in a N14 car.

It could theoretically, it mostly depends on what your willing to spend. Also OP if you don't mind how much did the rebuild cost?

I've got an engine on it's last legs...was really not expecting it nor was it an ideal time $$$ wise.

I've got a '10 cooper is and would be willing to buy it this week. What would the troubles be of dropping this in over the n14?

It would be a large headache. The motors are completely different and you would probably have to swap computer modules, etc. I'm not saying that it can't be done but it would probably get expensive really quick.
