R56 2011 Ordering
Every time I see that red on black JCW, it really looks so good, even in the rain. But then again, it always rains in England, right?
HAS THE MINIUSA GOT THE CONFIGURATION UP YET?
I'm at work and can't get to the site to open it up

Several dealers that I have contacted all say the same thing, "Configuration is to be changed at the end of the month" Well, aren't we there yet? I figured either today, or on Monday August 31st, but who knows.
I couldn't open this PDF unfortunately. Thanks for trying though! I guess I will have to be patient. Dang! That Eclipse Grey looks intriguing. I just can't wait! I guess I can look on the bright side - at least Mini Connected will be ironed out by the time I order!
Hi, I have the price sheets in front of me and I cannot find anything about the light beige headliner (previously light gray) or the pepper white trim.
Here it clearly states that these are new additions to Mini Cooper:
http://www.miniusanews.com/web/model...rp&pageNumber=
"a light beige headliner will be standard (replacing the gray headliner)." &
"Among the newly introduced options are ... trim elements in ... Pepper White"
Does anybody have any info about these being valid information? I have been to European Mini sites and in their configurators there is nothing about these either. Thanks.

I bet Weds, the 1st, that way whole site is updated to match german site. And that is when the 2010 promotions end and new pricing is in effect.
Thanks Chakram. However the color lines, as I understood, are Polar Beige, Carbon Black, Satellite Grey and Toffee Color, Rooster Red Lines. Right?
With the Trim line/interior surface (that affects the color of for example the secret compartment) based on the news release the given options are: "trim elements in Striped Alloy, Black Checkered and Pepper White". On my price sheets I can only see Fluid Silver, Piano Black and English Oak and Striped Alloy.
Which is why I am a little bit confused. Trim line is something that you need to choose, I think, and I do not see pepper white nor black checkered on my price sheets. I also wonder how the car would look like with the polar beige color line and pepper white trim. Would that look just too weird? Is it too much?
If the headliner truly is light beige instead of gray, I think it will look very fresh with the all black center console (I might be wrong) and make the inside of the car feel a little bit more spacious. I would just love to see pictures of the headliner in a Mini Cooper S. Just cannot seem to find any.

Just went to the Costco site, plugged in what I wanted on a 2010, gave them my name/phone number, they called me up and said I couldn't get a 2010 anymore, but the pricing discount can be applied to 2011. It's just a flat number though, I think they said $500 on MCs, $1000 on MCSs, and $1250 on JCW. I don't know if those numbers are the same for Clubmans/Cabrios, I didn't ask, but I would expect them to be those numbers or higher. I know $500 or $1000 isn't much, but it's more than they'd be willing to haggle over I'm sure.
I went to Costco, and typed in Mini JCW no trade, and they came back with no participating dealers. If I could save $1250, I'd travel for quite a ways, but nothing appears. So, my questions is: Where did you find a participating dealer?
I agree with that .. $1250 makes a nice free trip to pick up a MINI
I'm not far from the DC-metro area (about a two hour drive) so I just plugged it in there. You're right, worth the drive
I'm supposed to get a call back with more info in a bit, hopefully they don't turn around and say just kidding

How does costco pricing work? They have a tie-up with local dealers I presume. $1000 off an MCS would be really sweet!
Not a costco member at the moment (but seeing that it's only $50 or so, would definitely be worth it!). Is regular membership all you need or do you have to spring for executive? (even $100 for an instant $1000 would be awesome!)
wahoo shoe, I'm in the DC area, if that's any help. Do let me know how it goes. I'm off on vacation, will be back labor day. All the best with the ordering!

They don't have 2011 pricing yet. They do have 2010 pricing, I assume that 2011 will be similar. I bought my current truck through costco. They basically have a price list of all the options etc for costco people. It's pretty straight forward. Also the question about the different levels. If you get the executive, then they will give you 50 towards service / parts at the dealership so it is a wash as far as price difference.
That help? Let me know if you need more details.
The best I got from dealers was one said they would knock off $750 and the other one would beat it if I called them. $1200 off an MCS would be sweet compared to what I have now. What about Sams Club, would they be able to do better than Costco?
Bruce Wayne: You have got to tell us more.

So you just negotiated $1200 off on your own....WOW. Prize of the Year goes to you sir!
The dealer said it's just a flat number off, regardless of options. Either that, or my options got those credits. But I think it's just a flat number...

2011? Negotiating or price-deal? On a fresh order? DETAILS MAN! haha
