The lights coming into view at the top of the web cam should belong to the Isolde.

 

Eh, you beat me to it... was about to ask if the Isolde was the one waiting in the wings..... MOCD is in full force, haven't even driven home from work yet not wanting to miss this

I had been wondering about the glare in some of the pictures and was thinking it looked wet. Just checked Radar, and there does appear to be some light rain/mist in the area.

We won't likely get any pictures as clear as Robin's... still glad I'm getting to see this though.

Through Miraflores... switching back to SimpsonGI mode

 

According to the WW Site, our arrival date to Port Hueneme has been pushed back a day to 7/24... I thought we were ahead of schedule

I think it went through the Canal late, yes, it did go through on the day I was hoping it would but it didn't until later at night. I think it will be late 23rd early 24th for it to pull into Port Hueneme.

 

Oh, it also stayed at Manzanillo longer than I thought it would, it was suppose to leave there on the 13th according to the original schedule.

 

This seems to be pretty typical. Isolde went through the canal a day late when it brought my MINI over in late April.

 

Out of the blue I got a call from my MA this morning to update me that they're expecting it at Port on the 23rd. I guess a day doesn't matter much either way, but it was good to hear that my baby is really on the Isolde and only about a week away from tires dry.

Hello everyone! Thought I would say hello...my little beauty is also riding along on the Isolde...It's been a long 2 1/2 months since we ordered our 2007 MCS red on red and MOM (Mini of Murray) tells me I'm looking at probably 3 weeks to delivery...which isn't bad, except we sold my car to a relative in need 2 weeks ago...hello public transportation!!! (and my husband is officially my taxi for hire) Many thanks to all of you who have posted the pictures in the canal...I showed them off at work and some of the ladies told me it was like my first ultrasound picture (tee hee)...maybe we should plan an ISOLDE reunion, so the kids can get back together???

Hello Emily! Welcome to NAM and the Isolde group! As you can tell a few of here suffer from MOCD (Mini Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). You're MA is probably real close on the estimate, depending on any options that might be being installed at the VDC or dealer you should have about 2-3 weeks before you take delivery.

 

Greetings Emily! My baby is also on the Isolde partying along side yours as well as others. I really can't wait.

Three weeks from now? Would it really take that long for you to get yours?

Thanks! and I hope that it doesn't take them long to throw in the floor mats...I think that's the only dealer option that they need to install (if you even call it installing)...but who knows...originally I wanted to hit MITM but I'm afraid that Mini will be too new...so the first official night away from home will be MUTA with the local Mini club here in Utah...

How soon do you think you will be able to post more updates on the Isolde? I'm very grateful for your knowledge and MOCD...
