R56 Isolde - Expected ETA 7/23 in Port Hueneme
ISOLDE - Expected ETA 7/23 in Port Hueneme
The Isolde arrived at the Southhampton docks at 12:30 local time in Southhamptom (about a half hour ago)
EDIT: Darn it, I misread the time, it should arrive in 12 hours. At the top of the arrival page it says it was updated at 00:50 so they are using a 24 hour time notation instead of 12 hour. I got myself all excited over nothing. The departures page list the scheduled departure time of 18:00 on Monday July 2nd.

Unfortunately I don't think we will be able to track it via sailwx. I've been able to find two different call signs for the Isolde, one was SKWJ and the other SLKB. Neither has any history on the weather sights nor do they list the ship by name.
I've been looking through previous threads trying to find information on it. I've made it through the week 13 production group and they were not able to track it via sailwx either. I'm getting bummed out about it. It's looking like we'll only be able to see it on AISlive and then only when it near land (when it is near Southhampton, the Panama Canal, and then finally when it nears California).

Once the ship is through the canal, you can plot it's progress to Port Hueneme again using a constant speed which will get pretty close to the actual position. In MADAME BUTTERFLY's case, the total voyage was two days less than originally scheduled but again, the WW site will show you that.
Good luck with the voyage.

The Isolde is going through the Dover Straits on its way to Southhampton.

It's getting late for me, 1:05 AM Pacific Time but I'll see if I can stay awake another three to four hours to capture images of the Isolde arriving at the port in Southhampton. I do have the current image captured but I'm not going to post it unless requested. I know, I have too much time on my hands over the weekend and I've been spending all of my time monitoring NAM :-)
What can I say other than I'm obsessing about my new baby.... I've been teased about it by people I know and fortunately I don't care (I've stopped giving my wife updates as I've been driving her crazy and I still have over a month to obsess about it) Ugghh...they've updated the arrival time at Southhampton it is now 13:15 local time instead of 12:30. Heh, I guess instead of saying local time I could say GMT. :-)

I'm starting to fade pretty fast here, I don't know if I'll be able to stay awake another 45 to capture the last of the screen shots as it pulls into port. I already have about 10 each captures from AISlive and from the radar images from Southhampton.

In regards to finding out if yours is loaded, it would tell you on a new line item on that same WW page where you found that yours is booked.
Thanks, unfortunately I'm going to miss the departure of the Isolde in a couple of hours so I won't be able to collect screen shots of it moving out of the port. I hope to be able to catch some before it goes out of range on AISlive.
The Isolde has made it out of Southampton waters and it is now in showing up on the UK South East coast map on Aisfree. It should be making the right turn soon to get it completely out of the channel/bay area.
Also, yes, thanks SimpsonGI, you rock
I've managed to keep up with the screen prints of the Isolde leaving. I'll post them when I get home. The Isolde hasn't previously reported using the weather tracking system so once it gets too far away from the UK we probably won't be able to get any further updates until it gets close to the Panama Canal. I'm hoping though that the Captain just might decide to turn on the weather system this trip. I'm not holding my breath on it though.May the Isolde have clear skies and smooth waters to travel under/upon

Oh, and no, I haven't been able to find any other manuals. I've looked for a NAV manual as well, but no luck.
Yes, my wife told me today that they should come out with a new one, MOCD, Mini Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. The Isolde is now on the South West Approaches section of AISfree, it is on the far right side of the map slightly below the middle.
From their info Unixgal and opass. Mine will be trucked to Portland, OR. I don't think anyone else from the Isolde has posted. The other week 26 peole that were posting in the support group are going to the East Coast and will probably have their Mini's around the time the Isolde reaches the Panama Canal.
