R56 Isolde - Expected ETA 7/23 in Port Hueneme
That's what I'm expecting yes. According to the OL, the ETA at the VDC is 7/23, according to WW, the Isolde is due to reach port on 7/24 and according the the last ETA from AISLive when she left the waters of Panama it was 13:00 UTC on 7/25. I think it will probably arrive at port sometime on 7/24. I'm hoping to be able to catch it on AISLive before my trial expires tomorrow.
Well, sorry everyone, I'm in the same situation as everyone else now. AIS shut off my trial subscription. I think they turned it off a day early and I've emailed them asking what's up but I really doubt they'll turn it back on for me. By my count, it was 12-13 days depending on if how you count the first day. It was supposed to be a 14 day trial.
Ugh. Oh, well. Now that the time is getting nearer the waiting is getting harder,
impatient:impatient but I'm not sure knowing down to the minute would help as much as it did on the Canal.
Thanks for your diligence all this time, it has been appreciated.

Here are the links to the free maps that we'll be using:
South West USA overview
San Diego overview
Los Angeles overview
Port Hueneme is on the Los Angeles overview map, on that map there are three spots along the coast where ships are congregated. Port Hueneme is the furthest one North with fewer ships there than the other more Southerly ports on the map.

I'll just be scouring the free maps now instead of searching by ship name on the subscription ones
.
Don't know why I waited this long to look it up, but FYI:
ISOLDE Gender: Feminine
Usage: English, German, Celtic Mythology
Pronounced: i-ZOL-de (English), i-SOL-de (English), ee-ZAWL-du (German) [key]
Possibly derived from a Welsh root meaning "beautiful". In Celtic legend she was an Irish princess betrothed to King Mark of Cornwall. She became the lover of his knight Tristan, which led to their tragic deaths.

Oh, I found another AIS site that looks promising. It is a free registration and the google maps version of the site looks great!
This is an example of their normal map, it doesn't appear as if you can zoom and it convoluted with the depth/tide markings:

Here is an example of their google maps version, it is much easier to read, and zoomable!:

I think I'll be using the google maps version for tracking the isolde as it comes into the AIS system. Woohoo! I can be tenacious at times.

I think that is an understatment from what I know about you so far.

As long as they drop off our MINI's before they have their affair, not a problem for me
okay...so I'm trying to be patient...really...and I found this...I'm sure it's out there somewhere, but these are pictures of BMW's packed in their boat...I thought it was neat...and tried to picture a bunch of Mini's instead...what a riot it must be for them (the Minis...) enjoy!

The tracking info in this thread is amazing. Thank you very much.

But I like to them of them as all being together.
I have good news, AIS reinstated my my trial subscription and gave me an extra day. My subscription now expires tomorrow afternoon.
And even better news, the Isolde is not back on the AIS subscription site, it is showing an updated ETA of tomorrow at 5 AM Pacific time (12:00 UTC). Here is the latest screen capture, I'll try to check on it every couple of hours today. I don't think it is quite in the visible area yet of the Microshine AIS tracking site.
