She's past the Gatun Locks. I'll try to keep tabs on her today but I'll be at work so my reporting may be a little bit spotty. Here are the latest screen captures. The background on the subscription site is not white anymore for where she is anchored at. The first two thumbnails are from the subscription site (the second one is zoomed in a bit more) and the last is from the free site.
The Isolde is still anchored, but there is a lot of North bound traffic flowing through the Canal at the moment. I suspect they let the ships through one way in the morning and then the other way in the afternoon.
Yes, I did know of them. I missed it going through the Gatun Locks early this morning/late last night. The next web cam opportunity is the Centennial Bridge and then the Miraflores Locks. I hope to be able to catch it as it goes through both. The camera angle changes during the day at the Miraflores Locks so we may not see it going through. I'm fairly sure I have the correct spots on the AIS map identified so I'll know when to start looking at the web cams if I'm able to be watching at the time.
I will of course post when I think it is getting close to any web cam.
Thanks for posting the link ahead of time for the others in the thread!
It looks like some the other anchored ships are starting to make their way towards the Centennial Bridge. I'm thinking the Isolde will fire up her engines soon.
She is still anchored, but it looks like all of the other ships that were anchored and waiting to go through the Canal Southbound are all moving, except the Isolde. She should be moving soon.
Hmm..interesting. I just checked again. AIS is listing as being anchored but moving at 4.7 knots. I can see where it could be moving at 0.1 or 0.2 while it is drifting somewhat at anchor, but not 4.7
EDIT: Her bow is now turned slightly Southward so I think she is indeed starting up to move her way towards the Centennial Bridge.
EDIT #2: Yes, she is moving. The site has the circle moved a bit away from the icon for the Isolde and it still reports her as being anchored, but moving at 5.1 knots and following the path of the other ships.

I'm fairly positive I have the location of the Centennial Bridge now. I was just watching the web cam for it and the only ship that is in the area is the one that is circled in this map.
I think the Zhonghai has cleared the Centennial Bridge web cam. The next ship visible on the cam should be the Isolde. But it does have a little way to go before it gets close, I'd say at least 20+ minutes.
No problem, it might be a little longer than 10 minutes but it you won't miss it if you leave your PC for that length of time. Oh, maybe not, the map just updated, its moved a bit further. The next big ship on the cam will be the Isolde.
