The Overseas Long Beach should be coming up behind the Zim Livorno on the web cam soon. I think I might be able to make out the lights for it in the background.
The Zim Livorno is entering the South set of the of the Miraflores Locks (left lane) and it looks like the BBC Portugal is coming up the Northbound lane (right lane) and should be in view in several minutes.
By the way, I have acquired a lot of screen prints of the Isolde on AISLive and AISfree in addition to the web cam snap shots. If anyone wants me to send them to you please send me a PM with your email address and I'll zip them up and send them out to you. I'm not sure how big of a file it will end up being but I can break it down into several emails if necessary.
The ship sitting in view should be the Zim Livorno, then there are two more (Overseas Long Beach and then the Zhonghai) followed by the Isolde.
Actually it looks like another ship is in the line that I missed. The Hammonia Fortuna is in between the Overseas Long Beach (the ship approaching the locks in the cam) and the Zhonghai. So we still have three more ships to pass through before the Isolde.
I believe the Zim Livorno is leaving the web cam view in the left lane, the Overseas Long Beach is approaching the final set of locks in the left lane.
From reading the Panama Canal website on the Miraflores Locks it takes about 10 minutes for a ship to make it through the locks once it has started. It is possible this could be the Isolde approaching the web cam. I'm starting to question where the camera is actually pointing.
I was correct the first time on the camera position. I was able to read the ship name on the side of the Overseas Long Beach as the bow passed into clear view of the camera, it is still visible on the cam. The Hammonia Fortuna should be next coming through the web cam in the left lane next.
I went to go pick up something to eat . I don't know if this next ship into the locks is the Hammonia Fortuna or the Zhonghai. The Hammonia Fortuna dropped off of AIS while I was gone. Here is the latest info from AISLive on the Isolde. The area circled in blue is where the web cam is at.
It looks like the Zhonghai is coming into the locks next. I think the ship that is currently being lowered is the Hammonia Fortuna even though it hasn't reappeard back on my AISLive map.
EDIT: The Hammonia Fortuna is back on my map and it is the one that is currently being lowered in the web cam. The Isolde is still back a little ways. It probably won't pass through the lock for about another half hour. (approx. 8:00 Pacific time)

The Isolde had been hanging back but she is on the move now towards the locks and web cam. The Zhonghai is currently at the entrance to the lock and the Isolde will be the next one through in the left lane. The Discovery Bay is currently in the right lane headed in the opposite direction.

Reason: Added link to current map picture
Thanks for the picture Robin. Hey SimpsonGI (what is your name anyway ) based on that picture it looks like we have the wrong ship under the bridge.

My name is Gary. I think we got the right ship going by the Centennial Bridge. There weren't any other ships in the area on the AIS map. It was just getting dark and it wasn't the greatest of feeds. The one here from the Miraflores locks will be much clearer. Probably another 15-20 minutes until it comes into view. The Zhonghai just made it into the locks and it should start being lowered very soon.
