Well I doubt we are going to see much more movement from her. I'm considering her at the dock. I'm going to see if I can get another hour of sleep. Here is the latest screen capture. I'll post another one later that shows her as moored.

So much for my trying to get any more sleep before I had to get up for work . Oh well, that's the price I pay for my MOCD . Here is a screen capture of the Isolde moored at Port Hueneme.

At least she arrived early in the day so they'll have all day to work on onloading her.

I just called my MA to ask if they had any information about the status of my MINI now that the Isolde has docked. He didn't have anything specific about my MINI, but he did say that they have been told to expect all cars "from the ship on the 24th" to arrive at MINI of Mountain View by the end of the month.

Since my dealer options are being installed "at Port" he said dealer prep should be 4 hours. I'm looking good to have it by the end of next week.

Maybe you guys should ask your MA's about their expectations too. Hopefully we'll all have our babies soon.

My MA from Mountain View just contacted me and mentioned that it should be at the dealership by the end of this month like you said Unix. I also mentioned the JCW aero kit and he said that the kit might be installed at the VDC. This next week or so is going to be very difficult. This thread along with the week 26th prod. support thread will be the first threads I'll be posting pics. Make sure you guys post as well, I want to see all your beautiful babies.

I'm still crossing my fingers that I'll only be a day or two behind the Northern California deliveries. I thought the aero kits were normally dealer installed Intendoe. From what I've read, it is a fairly lengthy installation. The VDC would probably do it quicker but it may hold up the delivery to the dealer.

You're welcome. I've been very lucky with being able to access a PC at just the right times in order to capture the information. OK, well, maybe some of it was the fact that I was constantly checking , but still.

Do any of you guys know if they'll ship my car out right away, or will it wait for all the other cars to be finished. I'm not getting any VDC installed accessories, so I'd expect it to ship pretty soon but I'm not sure how they prioritize things.

I would think they'd have to wait for others to fill the truck as well, unfortunately. More efficient that way.

I read previous posts that mention custom order has priority to go first. Looks like 2 guys up in SF area will get their cars at the end of July.

Just checked an AIS site... I can 100% confirm that all of our cars are "tires dry" since the Isolde is at sea bound for Tacoma.

Fair thee well Isolde... thanks for the lift!!!

Not since yesterday.

I'll probably start bugging them incessantly on Monday. If I hear anything I'll let you know. Please let me know if you do, mkay?

Probably going to drive to Sacto. to sell my Saturn this weekend at CarMax. Then I'll commute on my motorcycle until I can take my MINI home.

Thx Unix. Oh yeah once I get more info from my MA I'll be sure to post. My MA's supposed to call me to let me know if they're installing my aero kit at the dealer or at the VDC. We'll see.

I am also selling my car at the Sacto Car Max: the appriasal was not as much as I want but it is better than dealing with the private market and all of the paper work hassel... My MA did not have any information yet. He said it usually take a week to 2 weeks to get to Sacramento and a couple days at the dealer to finish the car and detail it out.

It should be less than two weeks to Sacramento. I was given an estimated 10-14 days to for mine to make it to Portland. If your dealer is in Sacramento, you should be able to take delivery around the same time as the Bay area waitees

This is by far the worst part! I just got the call from my MA saying that my baby will be ready for pickup this Sunday. Now that I have a definite day, I'll be counting the hours until I can go get it. Oh, the agony...

BTW, I was told that there was one other car released early, destined for the bay area. Anyone else get the call today?

Congrats on getting a firm delivery date!! I'm hoping I might be able to have a date either Saturday or Monday. I'm crossing my fingers (and toes, which isn't easy ) I'll be able to take delivery sometime next weekend.

Congratulations on getting a date. I'm envious, but happy for you

I could only hope that my car was released early, but given the iPod install, I'm doubting it this quickly (but I wound't complain if I got the call)
