I was working by my car yesterday and I've noticed something while working by the oil filter. Right below it to the right there's a empty space and I could barely get my fingers in there. I've managed to pull out a rounded square gasket and I'm not sure where it could have come from at all.
One thing to point out is that I have some oil that's sitting there, it's a little puddle but it's there. I'm not sure if it's because of when I changed the oil filter last time (there was some oil that came out when I took out the old filter and went down there) or if the leak has something to do with this gasket.
I've included a picture if anybody could help me out with where it's supposed to be.
Found it. On the outside connection: top right hand side. Looks like that when its been in place, My guess is they changed it and then it fell out. Clean it up , if the system still leaks, they forgot to replace it or put it back. You will need a new one, link below to the parts needed.
