I too checked the 'lounge' this morning to see that our baby was at the
Distribution Center....

Only to be later informed that he was NOT!

Merle O' is on a carrier truck headed towards Virginia Beach.

It was loaded yesterday and should arrive late tonight or tomorrow!

My MA, Graham, indicated that he would be trying his best to get him
spiffed up and programmed for deliver to us on SATURDAY!:D

Sounds like things at the NY/NJ VPC are clicking OK to me!

I sure hope the rest of you hear this great news very soon...

 

Hi Everyone!!! - I am on Cloud 9! My MINI is at the dealership and is being readied for pickup, I can't believe it is FINALLY here !!!!!

PK1, What dealership are you picking up your car from? I am waiting to here from my MA on when my MCS should be arriving in Baltimore. My MCS was shipped on the Carmen. Spoke to MA this Monday, and he said a group of cars were waiting for a truck to transport to Baltimore.

I am so excited, every time the phone rings, I think it's my MA.

All right, now I'm getting JEALOUS!!!!! Four of you in the last couple hours posted about gettting your MINIs. HAGRID was on the same ship (CARMEN), offloaded last week, in the distro a couple days ago, and still no word from my MA on delivery. Must have had one of the lower deck berths coming over.......

Also noticed the MINIUSA site updated this morning to "At Distribution Center" and my delivery date changed by 4 days to 4/30/03. Not sure how they're gonna pull that one off. :evil: :???:

I like that name. :smile: Mine too is somewhat way off. The OL shows me still en route with an estimated deliver of today. The WW site still shows me loaded on the ship even though Carmen left Charleston on the 26th. My MA did mention I was at the distribution center saturday but seeing as the Carmen was getting into port on saturday I am unsure.

Congrats PK1 and Trailblazer. I don't see any pics yet, hurry up!

my est. delivery date was monday 28-apr.
talked to my MA yesterday, 29-apr, who told me that
my car was already at the distribution center (before th OL was updated),
and that i could expect to take delivery within a week.

i'm hoping friday because my boss will let me take the
day off as long as i come back to work and give her the 1st ride!

congrats to us all on our patience.

For those who were recently loaded and sailed on the Tosca, has anyone's status changed to "In Route" in the Owner's Lounge?

I show loaded and sailed on the WW site, but the OL still shows me as waiting for the boat.

I'm loaded on the Tosca and the OL shows me waiting for transport too. I think miniusa updates their sites about once a week on Fridays.
I am so jealous of the owners who made it to the Carmen. Our time is coming.

I was told yesterday that our MINI would here by the weekend, but I must have talked to the wrong person at the dealership. My dealer told me today that it will be here sometime next week :smile:

Alright, today is the day for all the ISOLDE sailers! As long as everything goes as scheduled, our MINI's should be unloaded today, and then work their way through the VPC and then to our dealers!!
My MA sent us a letter yeserday saying that once the MINI hits the shores it will probably be 5-8 days before it arrives at the dealer...so, that means that the MINI could be in our posession as early as next weekend!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! The wait is killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yes, today is UNLOADING DAY for the ISOLDE, but as of 800a Pacific time there doesn't appear to be any docking or unloading going on YET...

5 to 8 days would be a stunningly short period of time from VPC arrival to customer delivery... I'd be thrilled but I'm thinking more like 5/17 for my pickup.

 

Just got the call from my MA...Drago's in!! Tomorrow is the big day, oh boy-o-boy-o-boy!

 

My MA sent me a list of the programmable options they had available, and there were only 4 on the list! I sent her a detailed fax of all the options that were available with CD 33 and to check with the service head. After checking she wrote me back and said that I was right, there were lots more options and she would get them all programmed.

My deal only offered me 4 programmable options too. I need to research the other options and be sure the dealer sets my car up right.

haven't heard from MA yet- but i noticed today that i can't track my mini anymore on the OL website... and it never made it to the 'at your dealer' status... what's up?

 

I guess I have become a May Club member. Sadly my estimated delivery to Patrick Mini on 4/28 has come and gone and still no word that it has left the distribution center. The car arrived in New York on 4/22. I have nightmares of someone driven around New York having a blast in my EB/B baby. Hopefully they'll set the mileage back so I won't know.

g3 you are right - just checked my status this morning and I am now "En Route"! Hey, they're only a week late.... it's still exciting to see that I moved to the next step and am officially on US soil! Now let's see how long it will take to get to the distribution center and, ultimately, TO ME.

It's getting so close, I can almost smell it......

Me too! I'm also en route. Saw on the W2 site this am that the Tosca's schedule has pushed back by a day. Arriving in NYC on 5/3 and Charleston on 5/6.

Well, I got the call: 10:30AM Saturday - Pick Up time!!! It got to New York wed 4/24, got to the dealer yesterday - and I get it tomorrow!

Cool!

I get it one day before I leave on a week long business trip. I guess my wife gets to break it in for the first week..

Mine shows 6 May, but if the ship doesn't even pull in until the 6th, that isn't going to happen. My MA estimates toward the end of the month.
