My MINI was removed from Carmen, and now is booked for Tosca but has not been loaded. I'm getting nervous.

 

Yeeehawww! I'm loaded on the TOSCA, as well. My VIN prefix is TD.
A nice cruise to Charleston, then a short hop up the road to Greenville, SC for my MINI, and I'll be on my way to the dealer.

And thank goodness. My '91 Jeep is soon to pass the 200,000 mile mark. I think I got my money's worth. If the MINI lasts as long, I can give it to my son to drive to school; he's currently 5.

My nervousness has just spilled over into childish joy. I just checked and I'm loaded.

 

Checked the tracking site and saw the ship wasn't even in yet and then came here and saw everybody saying they were loaded! I went back again quickly and Wah-la! I'm loaded on the Tosca as well. (Still shows the ship hasn't gotten to port yet, though!) I'm seeing the following as booked on the Tosca:

On a whim I did a search to see if I could find a picture of our vessel. Here is a link. It isn't the prettiest thing afloat and it isn't exactly new. In fact, I found one site that said a year ago they were considering turning the ship into student housing. Doesn't matter, it only needs to make this one voyage!

The last Coast Guard check sited the Tosca for leaking oil, as well. Let's hope it can limp across the big drink with our MINIs.

At least Tropical Storm Ana is disapating and shouldn't be a factor.

 

Im happy to say i am picking my new MINI cooper up tommrow, but they have not fitted my m-tch spoiler or my driving lamps.. not impresed thay hav had my car nearly a week n a half n told me it was all in waiting... now im told the spoiler and lamps have not arrived... but atleast the aero kit is on!.... indie blue white roof, white s-spokes can't wait!

oh and im in the UK not foar from southampton i've prob driven past the lorrys wihth all your MCS and MC's on it! you gott alove these cars!

Hey Tosca sailors, Just checked the Wallenius site and it now shows in red that the Tosca has left Southampton. They're on there way! Hope all of you made it aboard.

Since my new MINI is in the VPC in NY, I dropped my MA, MINIQUEEN an e-mail about possible timeline for delivery, and she informed me I could be MOTORING within two weeks !!!!!
The wait is agonizing !!!

 

Hi guys! I just discovered this thread (I've been hanging out in the Midwest forum, getting to know the locals). Looks like my MCS was headed for the Tosca, but I don't know if it made it aboard. The status page at http://213.31.205.37/GLWebApps.AppTracking says that my guy was "Booked" and "Received at Terminal" but that's all the entries I see. It lists Tosca as the vessel and the voyage # as EQ311-TOS. Would there be more entries if we had gotten onto the Tosca, so I didn't make it? or can I not really tell that from there?

I am in the same "boat" you are, that is still listed as "Booked" on the Tosca.
Don't know if we made it on or will have to wait for the Jingu Maru which departs
Southampton on April 28. Could be that our info just has not been updated.
Until status shows "Booked" on Jingu Maru, we can still hope that we are on the Tosca

Black Knight, MINI=Love, Ted - I don't know what to tell you. When I visit the WWW site, it has a block on the bottom that shows the received at terminal date/time, above that is one that says booked (date/time) and above that one that says loaded on vessel. I think if you look back on this CWFM Club thread you will see that this happened to some of the guys on the ships before us (Carmen, Isolde). Some of them made it, some of them didn't.

Thanks for the clarification on the status stuff. Guess I'll wait a day or two and see if the page updates with anymore status info. Can't wait!
