What help do you need? Tools? Knowledge? Wrench Skills?

I have all of the above but time is always the limiting factor. If it's just a clutch/flywheel swap I might be able to help out as we could get it done in a few hours. No promises, but shoot me a pm

ive never even touched a clutch befor so im going to need to pay someone to pretty much do it for me BUT i can atleast lend a hand with removal and installation of stuff I'm familiar with. I also have a garage full of tools ect or could bring it to you. I don't mind paying you either for your time. I'm not trying to get the job done cheap n save money so don't worry about asking for what your times worth. I'd just rather have it done where I can be rite there , semi hand on because that's how I learn is by watching. And what better learning experience than watching it done and helping..
sweet , I will keep you in mind.. I just plan on upgrading as i have unknown miles on my current clutch and its always been abit stiff since owning the car for 5x years almost now so imo I better replace it befor it starts slipping or something. And since I'm replacing it I might as well upgrade it then..
hahaha I'm trying to get your rims n tires 1st so if I need to I could atleast drive it in the winter or cold encase of emergency or something.
Thx again Dan....

Yeah they are pretty fragile. Some people say you can use a plastic scraper but the steamer makes it so much easier and takes the risk away from damaging your defroster lines.

So here's my rally light setup I got... the brackets are currently drying as I painted them gloss black n clearcoated them to blend in with my grill..
the wire harness is PERFECT length too so I won't have to shorten or lengthen it which simplifies things..
fricken MUCH cheaper buying all pieces individually vs the almoat 200$ sets.. my lights were 21$ , wire harness 11$ and brackets 13$....lol 45$ and better quality lights , thicker stainless brackets and wire harness to run auxiliary switch or remote.
ALSO because I help my elderly neighbor with everything , I even bring her down dinner when I cook. She surprised me with these 2x waxs and WOW , i couldn't belive how expensive they were... 40$ for one bottle of wax,geez..but I'm looking forward to trying them out soon as I get my retune done on the facelift ecu..
AlSO !!!! I FOUND THESE SWEEEEEET idk what to call them other than aero panels. I already ordered hydropdip film for them so they will look abd feel carbonfiber because they're fiberglass and go with my carbonfiber addiction addition.

Ceramic coated the mini , started the install of the tablet to run torque plus app and use as my multi media infotainment setup.. also got and installed the SWEEEEEET new HUGE af hood scoop.if the enlarged actually cooled better than stock I wonder if this will cool a little better than even the enlarged one I got rid of..
also installed the rally lights and they came out imo perfect. The aliexpress.com brand brackets fit perfectly and the ebay wire harness worked perfectly N the light are nice and equally bright. I also lined them up correctly and tightened them down for good. They're run off of a toggle switch built into the stock switch spot on the euro parcel shelf...
hopefully when I get back home adrian might have my retune done for the facelift ecu..
so once the tunes done I'm going to tall with megadan and hopefully get a new upgraded clutch and lsd put in so it will be coming out of hibernation stronger n better than ever..
here's pics comparing the old hood scoop to the new one.

Faclift ecu is tuned for non methanol and it actually picked up a little power it seems with the new ecu and better dialed in afr..
I also spent a week flatting the Cpillar add ons , then prepped and dipped them. Tomorrow I will clearcoat them. Give them a few more days to dry and then install them..
here's how they're coming... since I remolded them abit them fit the windows much much better now.

Soooo I don't know how accurate torque plus is but I set up my cars profile accurately... I ACTUALLY got a best 0-60 today of 4.1 but thought it would save it and it didn't buuuut I was still able to pull a 4.5.. its pretty muggy abd chilly today as its been raining past few days ( actually had a Tornado locally other day ) and I had to kinda soft launch it because I'm now having to relearn to launch the car on its new tune. So imo I think that's a pretty respectable time..
Also I did research my cars mods and around what hp it my car shooooooould be and with my mods I've been telling people conservatively its 280hp , maybe 300hp tops and according to my torque plus it says 295hp.. lol those numbers are VERY close to what I've estimated my car to be and what it feels like...I legit though I could pull a sub 5sec 0-60 no problem, especially if I do a hard launch but that requires warm temps , decent road surface and ille warm my tires first.
Im going to contact Adrian again and let him know we can tune the meth in when ever because the tune without it is running fricken CRISP ! LOL I don't even have ANY back fires or pops now if I give it gas and let off.. I LOOOOOVE it , i liked the natural pops and crackles it had but once kids started tuning for it and making their stock cars pop n crack like crazy I no longer liked it. So my tune must be running fricken CRISP. I mean according to my afr gauge and everything it is..
o yea !!!! We raised rev limiter to 8k from 7300 AND I BET thats helping it abit. I shift now at like 7600-7800 and it goes into the next gear SO MUCH better at those higher rpms. It really holds the powerband fricken excellent..
I wonder if once the meth is tuned in if it will pick up any more power or if it will just prevent heatsoak and keep iats down.. I'm HOPING to pick up power because I don't have an iat or coolant temp issues what do ever.. today , hardest longest pull i didnt see over 120'F and just cruising it was in the mid 70s low 80s.. and it's like 55' and cloudy out today.
anyways here's pics for proof.

no Adrian finally got ahold of me , was having few personal things going on... actually he's got my tune so fricken spot on , my car no longer pops or crackles anymore..
awhile ago we'd tried a pop n crackle in the tune , actually a few times we did and my car NEVER liked it. It would always cause power drop and throttle response loss.
and now on the new ecu abd new tune its more powerful than its been ever and it NEVER pops any more or crackles.. even if I'm cruising at 60mph in 6th and got full throttle and let off abruptly, it wont even pop then.. lol if i did that in any gear on my last tune i could make it pop loud af and if I was doing a hard pull and let off to slow down I'd get a few pops and then some crackles but NONE of that now so I think it's running that much more efficiency now. No excess fuel thats needing to be burnt off in the exhaust anymore.
I'm hoping to tune in the meth later this week when tenps warm back up..

you should get a 20$ kit with the activator and a pattern you like .
You gotta use the rite kind of color and paint for the bottom coat in order for the pattern you choose to show up well.
Buy a bin like I use from like Menards or somewhere to dip in and just do a few random shaped items to get a feel for it.. it's gonna be trial and error.. after I cut the sheet to size I put tape around the edges so it doesn't float around or spread on the water. I find using 95-100'F water , then letting the film soak ontop for 60sec. Then after the 60sec I spray a thin even layer of the activator on it from 2ft away and wait another 10seconds or so , you'll see the film pretty much liquefy and almost just look like ink on the water. Then you dip it in at and angle , kinda slow and steady and swish it under the water and move over the excess film ontop of the water and pull it out. Then you need to rinse it off in 95'F water until it no longer feels slimy /smooth on the surface. Once rinsed fully it need to dry for 2x days and then you can clearcoat it..
I hotglue popsicle sticks to the backs of things I'm dipping so that I can dip it fully and not have my fingers be in the way.lol I think that is the biggest hack I've learned while doing it.
It's not hard . It's more time consuming than anything imo. Having to fill and drain the tub , rinse and then wait and then clearcoat..buuuuut it is worth it when it works out in the end.

Soooooo I don't usually have the car out in this cold of temps , exp Since I've had all these newer mods ect but I had to go get a quote on that Marion ic to shipout and it's 41'F out today abd windy ,cold n cloudy BUT the mini LOOOOOOVES it. Lol the cold weather is like an overboost function. Not only does the sprintex scream like a banshee but it was peaking at 23psi..gowd I can't believe how much the cold weather makes a difference.. I wonder if once I get the meth tuned in if this is how it would feel and perform on even the hottest day.. I mean it's not like it's a slauch or down on power when it's hot out , not by any means. I'm just saying I can really tell how much denser air helps it perform. Tire traction though I'd nothing to write about,lol...tire fryer baby. I wasn't launching it because of my tires compound but I was laying into it while rolling and even then..tire fryer.

Car is still going too rich durring meth activation.. I think Adrian is abit nervous to tune it full out for the meth because of the dangerous timing it should be running durring my injection points.. does anybody have any info on tuning for it ? My max psi is 21 ,I'm running a #1 sized nozzle ONLY AND I've tried numerous injection points and stages are even asis the ONLY time I can get the meth to work as it should is running ONLY the 1st stage and ONLY when it activated at like 17psi and then it's barely doing anything to the point it barely drops iat's durring the wot pull.. any help would be much appreciated guys !!!!!
also I grabbed some winter rims n tires from a local member. i then had extra time due to plans being canceled so I cleaned them with just dawn n the hose , did a lazy light sanding with 1500grit and then grabbed 2x cans of krylon paint I'd had sitting around for a year now since buying it on clearance for like 1$ a can. And the color and paint ends up coming out FRICKEN SWEEEEEEET ! lol sometimes I impress my self with my quality of workmanship on such a simplified project. I can't imagine how nice they woulda looked had I actually taken the time to sand them better , use primer and clear..lol this is literally JUST spray paint and they look this crisp.

My big sheet of hydropdip I'd ordered that got lost finally showed up and were having a warm streak , of course rite after I put on the winter rim set..so I've been dipping everything easily removable from the interior and making it look carbonfiber. I've done the custom coolerworx shift boot delete and the cup holder bezel infront of it and I also removed all the trim rings from the dash , hazard switch casings and the 2x little side vents on either side of the dash. Sofar I just got the shifter n cupholder trims fully done but all other parts have been painted and I will be dipping them tomorrow.
I also got NEW ,different cpillar add-ons because these were real carbonfiber and I gave the other ones to my buddy for his r53 but wow they look nice..now I think I NEED to get the vented carbonfiber fenders over winter..
I ALSO just bought an r56 s ( poor man's jcw ) brake upgrade , every part needed to do the swap so those are very much needed now i got the meth tuned in fully...
ille show the interior parts once all done and cpillar add-ons but lol look how ugly my car looks with stock rims.AND I still have on the 10mm spacers..lol I guess I forgot how wide those flares and rims make my car..geez... buuuut that's the exact look I want. Squatted n thick ....
Thx you for the stockers megadan ! its been getting real cold real early and i have abit left on my insurance so lol if I can drive it I wanna..

I like the current state of the exterior of your car, but those C-pillars look terrible since they don’t cover the whole OEM piece. All the other parts look well integrated except those.

They're not sapose to.. if they did they'd interfer with the weatherseals and moldings.. theyre not sapose to be full top to bottom like the 56s and the bottom of them has a spot to drain if they got water behind them too.. that's the big reason they arnt able to fully take up the top and bottom gaps. But the curvature of them and they're shaping follows the body lines perfect. They go with the car , love it , hate it...
they do look better in person exp when you see them on the car as a whole ,together with all the other add-ons.
funny thing is my other non cf ones DID take up the whole window and that's why they got given away. They had no drainage provisions and because they filled the gaps all the way and they're custom made pieces so they're never perfect and they had uneven gaps at either end where there shouldnt have been because they wouldn't piece in good enough for my liking. Even after I worked them for a few hours to get them to fit as good as possible and that imo wasn't good enough . So away those ones went. I get what your saying though . I do wish for a more flush look like the r56s but I still like them and they're just 1x part of the 2x additions being added , I finally tracked down a carbonfiber 2nd spoiler that mounts under the window on the trunk.

Dang Dave HOOKED ME UP !!!! the rotors and pads are much better brands that I'd thought , lol guess I should have looked and read the ad better..lol derderder
thanks bimmadave for getting this stuff to me so quick. We have 2x days coming up in the 60s then it's down to high of 30s and 40s for awhile so what perfect timing.. the brembo decals I'd had already and planned on using on the calipers because I WAS gonna buy brembo rotors and pads but I think this current stuff will be just as good..
thx again Dave !

I'm going to go remove my r53 front brakes early this afternoon and I finished painting , applying the brembo decals and then clearcoated over them with hightemp clear. Lol some reeeeeeeeeeaal , really big brembos my car will soon have. The decal is what will be helping my new r56 brakes perform better than my old r53 brakes because the old ones were ONLY red , no decals.

I ran into abit of a problem installing the r56 brakes.1st I found a stuck slide pin and that was a pita fixing then I couldn't get the calipers to seat onto the rotors. I finally ended up grinding down the nubs on the back of the pads half way and grinded the brake pads against each there for awhile because they had a THICK break in coating and then the rotors too are coated so with the 2x coatings it caused too much interference. I got that taken care of then realized something.. the ebc pads or the calipers didn't have any brakepad mounting clips.. wtf ???? Stupid ebc !!! So I went to autozone to attempt to buy some buy I already figured I couldn't buy it separately then they didn't have any or stock any brakepads that came with it. So I called about 5-6 different places until I finally tracked some down that had the mounting clips so I bought them. But by time I got done I had to putz with the wife's car abit befor she went to work tomorrow so then I just called it a night.. I will install the Hardware tomorrow and bleed the brakes and test err out. Here's how itlle look once finished.
